if you send your invites out on time, its usually 3 weeks before the wedding.

Re: Thatched cottage thread

I made mine 6 weeks before the wedding because I had sooo many OOT guests. I sent them out August 30 - they had an RSVP date of October 1 for a wedding on November 14.

The hotel was only holding the rooms till October 14 so I wanted to make sure people made the proper arrangements.

Re: Thatched cottage thread

We used the Wingate at Wydamed and it was great, if 10 rooms where booked we rec'ved a free shuttle which holds 12 people and makes 2 trips it took people from the hotel to the TC and picked everyone back up at the end of the evening, DH and I got to stay for free. They also upgraded us to a suite for no charge. The rooms where clean and the staff was wonderful my guest where very happy with the place. Jessica took care of everything for us, Oh the shuttle even stopped on the way back to make a beer run for the guys!
