Honestly, I have never heard of that in my life! This is the strictest RH I have ever seen!I ended up telling my parents and they were surprised.
I think my Dad is going to call them now.

Hey I think this is actually pretty common. At our wedding people did 'shots' as in they poured alcohol into a glass- i think its called a tumbler glass. Its not actually in a shot glass but they would pour just a glass of vodka. Try not to worry, my husband did a few of these types of shots without the bartender giving him a hard time.

Re: Thatched cottage thread
so what do they tell guests if they ask for a shot?!? Do they tell them no? or do they say oh well I just have to give it to you in this glass. If they just give it in another glass thats not a big deal, but I don't want them telling my guests no!?

They dont have shot glasses-they pour it in a tumbler glass- the way TC made it sound when they said 'no shot' policy was as if you had to have it like a mixed drink & I didnt want them telling my guests no.

I have been stress ( about money) lol, manly to FH. But surprisingly I am very clam! Fh is the one who is freaking out , so that's why I m not. Last week we went out and he was drinking and asked 5 times if we had favors ( our friends where laughing), I order them a month ago, my mother and I will pick them up Tuesday before the wedding. The only thing left for me to do is programs. Go to the spa which, will be on next Saturday, and get my nails done the day before the wedding. But the RD is on Wednesday so we will see what happens then. You can not control people or the weather ( I really wish I could ) and I m not going to sweat the little things as long has Fh and I get married. I have faith in the vendors ( my mom and sister will be there to help me) that they will do a good job

Yes - I had a table of 7 and a table of 8 and there was no problem. As long as you 'average' 12 per table, you are fine.
