I know, its very uncomfortable!

MY FH does the same thing! He HATES when I make fun of myself! I guess its a coping method! But I want to have my 'old' body back!!

We do have sex w/ the lights on occasionally, but the majority of the time its candlelight!! LOL

Its actually the opposite for FH and I... he kind of likes when I make fun of myself because I am REALLY sensative abotu my weight and every little thing gets me upset...so if I crack a joke about my big butt or something I guess he sees it as me starting to accept myself...too bad that only lasts a second tho...then I get back to feeling insecure and upset

This is a great thread! I have been a plus sized girl for as long as I can remember. I hit my biggest (a size 22) about 3 years ago and couldn't stand it anymore. I joined the gym and WW and I'm down to a 14/16 now, but am stuck at a plateau. I've re-committed myself to WW this week and I'm fighting to find my motivation.

Hey girls!!! Thanks again for the support. My name is Andrea and I am a PLUS SIZE GIRL!!! I am so excited to be getting married and like i tell me FH with a plus size girl you'll get warmth in the winter and shade in the summer

Beautiful dress! That was actually the 1st dress that I fell in love with! But I didn't think it would flatter my body type...

I thought the same way but once i put it on I was very surprised . The A-line of the dress is very flattering.

I too miss the days of walking around in a tank and boy shorts, but now the boy shorts just make the infamous 'muffin top'

Oh and I didn't make it to spin this morning, my ear has been ringing since about 4am this morning, my cold has settled in my sinus' and I am now on the verge of getting an ear infection. Would you beleive I just have to take claratin-D as a decongestant....

Anyway, I'll be back in the gym at 430pm today!!!

I love that dress!!!!! I ended up falling in love with something a little more victorian! But I wanted that dress with aubergine (dark purple) I never found a sample, so I couldn't 'picture it'

HEy Girlie, That is my dress too! I got it in the red. When I ordered it I weight 30lbs more than I do now. Here are the before and now pictures. I say now instead of after because I would like to lose another 20lbs before the wedding.

It is laced as tight as it can go and is big at the top still!!!

Thank you! I feel like it is all getting real now, you know? Only 3 more months.

When FH and I met I was at my skinniest and I didn't think I was thin then. I was 150lbs and I am 5'8. Now when I look at those pictures I think, ugh what the hell was wrong with me will I never be happy with my size? I feel like now that I am losing weight I am earning my self esteem back. I wish I could just be comfortable with my weight but I am not so now I am remotivated!

I love this thread!

How funny is that and our weddings are only a week apart. I found the same problem with my dress that it tends to be losse on top. It looks great on you!!!!

Ladies check out my bathing suit. Just got here. It's a 3 piece and the top has removable straps so NO tan lines.. Very flattering on. FH said if he did not know better he would have thought it was a sundress
