Hey all the fellow VYC brides!

I was wondering, does anybody have an opinion on the color white with VYC? I saw a lot of VYC brides have ivory colored dresses and don't use white as a color since there is a lot of beige in the rooms.

Any opinions?

I used white! i had a white wedding gown and my centerpeices were all white! i have pics in my album

I am using a diamond white dress - all of their linens are ivory - which i think is fine - i want to be the only white fabric in the room

Hi all-
I'm new to this (by this, I mean, the site, the message board, wedding planning... everything) and didn't go through all the old pages on this thread but am so so so close to booking VYC for next year.

Was just wondering what people thought of upstairs vs. downstairs? Personally, I liked the downstairs better (had space outdoors, etc) and would even consider cutting the guest list for it. I was not too enthused about having some guests in the smaller room... thought they might feel left out with that wall open and stairs between them and the rest of the party

Any ideas?

I used all of the rooms....for my CH I used all of downstairs so guests could roam around outside or inside and enjoy the views. For my reception I chose to use upstairs because I didn't want guests just hanging out outside on the patio, I wanted everyone to be inside and enjoying the music, etc.

they dont provide the place cards thats for you to do. I remember asking bill this. got some at joann for cheap :) HTH
