I know these posts are old, but I had to chime in. We just booked the Venetian for our weeding- October 12, 2008. So excited and happy with our choice. It was almost a no brainer. We met with Gulio. Absolutely LOVED him. He was so accomodating to our every request and answered all our questions. After the Venetian we went to Villa Lombardi. Thought it would be a tough decision but the Venetian blew Villa away. We have both rooms downstairs. I have seen it set up and it is beautiful. Heard the food is delicious and the staff is wonderful. I can't wait!

Our wedding was perfect! Everything at the Venetian was amazing. I put a few pictures in my album if anyone is interested.

I worked with Guilio and he was great. 2 days before my wedding he informed me that the other wedding was cancelled so he moved our cocktail hour to the upstairs room. So we had the entire place to ourselves.

Did you or are you planning on tipping your banquet manager ( Guilio, Daisy or Bill).

If so, can you tell me how much you tipped or are planning on tipping?

I want to tip Guilo because he did a really good job and he even showed up for a majoirty of our wedding, but I just wasn't sure how much...

So I am back and married. Girls the VYC did an amazing job. Everything was perfect. My bridal attendand and matrid did a great job. The food was amazing the Vienesse was yummy. Cake yummy. We did red velvet with white cholacate mouse and cream cheese filling. Yummy. We added extras for the cocktail Hour Seafood boat and Caviar Station both were fantastic. I barely ate anything that night but got rave reviews and still an about everything. It was better than I expected it to be.

I signed my contract today with Venetian. My official date is 10/25/08 at 7pm. I'm actually pretty nervous about this whole wedding thing....lots of money for just a few hours!!! Glad to have this thread to get feedback from everyone.
