Food tasting was delicious!

They re-did the patio railing.... its chrome railing now instead of the white bars!

So excited!

Yay! What did you get to sample? I think that everyone else on here got Chicken Toscana, Filet Mignon and Salmon. Did you have anything different?

what do u guys think about chair covers. i know alot of people are doing without but my mom thinks it will look nicer with chair covers what do u think??

I had a meeting with Bill today and I can't believe how close everything is. We went over seating charts, finalized our menu and picked out a cake.

I did take a look outside and they have finished replacing the wood and swapped it for marble, but they haven't replaced the arch out there. Bill said that they are building a cuppola (sp?) and that it should be there by my wedding, but I don't know exactly when. The one thing that is different is that what they're building won't be able to go inside if the ceremony is rained out. So now I'm going to have my florist do some free-standing arrangements so that at least we have something if the ceremony has to be inside.

The chairs that they have are so pretty, I don't think that you need to spend the extra money on chair covers.

I think we should honestly give props to Daisy at VYC for taking the initiative to call Karen when she suspected something fishy going on. Only another reason to add to the million reasons why they're my most favoritest place!!!!!

I wasn't on much yesterday and bc Karen/Orchid or whoemever she is FM'd me a few times I am not worried..but then again my wedding is in two weeks so I guess I should be too worked up. I am sure I would have heard something from me vendors.

Can someone tell me exactly what happened to prompt her being called out as a fake???

I don't mean to change the subject, but do you girls know what a bridal attendant does besides take care of you food/drink wise? Does she also take care of your dress (stains, bustle, etc.)?

I know VYC offers one and I was thinking of getting a DOC but don't know if it's worth it...

Yes she does also do your bustle and brings your drinks, food etc. She's your personal helper for the day but the difference between an attendant and a DOC is the DOC takes care of all of your vendors, makes sure everything you planned so hard for goes perfectly, everything is in place! She's your extra pair of eyes and also she (or he) is the go to person if anything goes wrong!

ok I know I'm like months last for jumping on this thread but this is the first I've seen of it!!!! Getting married at VYC 9/16/07. SO EXCITED!!!!!! I'm worreid where to do pics if it rains???
