FH and I are going in on April 1st to finalize our menu. I think we are going with
Filet Mignon
Chicken Toscana
Lamb Chops
Salmon
Chilean Sea Bass

Good Lord I can't believe how this is creeping up on us

Don't worry I am giving my DOC a list of must take pics for her to take just for you girls so I can post some before I leave for the HM

I'm the guinea pig of our group so I know you're depending on me

Super excited but also a bit stressed. I know it will all get done in the end

I'm using Francesca of Dazzling Affairs as our DOC. She is FANTASTIC..LOVE HER!!

MINI FOOD TASTING REVIEW.

Just had a food tasting at VYC. Let me say ladies, I brough along the two most picky eaters (my mother and mother in law) and we all loved the food. Loved it!.. We had the stuffed chicken (toscana), salmon and filet mignon. It was all delicious and the mothers were so happy. We were treated like royalty... I even requested that the filet mignon be served well done and... no problem...done! anyway, one thing i would say is that if you have a particular dish you really care about, find out if they're serving it at your appt... because your tasting is based on whatever is being served at the event that is ongoing on the night of your tasting. So we tried only 3 entree's because that's what was being served. We didn't care... we loved everything... but if you'll have an issue and really want to try something just ask for an event where that item will be served.

That's all.. Julio was absolutely awesome!!

yeah i had my tasting earlier this month - i know its really early since i'm not getting married until next year but the food was awesome!!

oh YAY! we are going to look at the VYC next thursday!!! im SOOO excited b/c i FELL IN LOVE with the pics on the site & its soooo good to hear all these great things about it!!!

i also like that they have multiple rooms so the availability is better... when i spoke to the guy who booked us to come and see the hall, he said both of our dates were available so im really hoping the price it right... how much is it anyway for a day and/or night wedding on saturday??

its sooooo gorgeous there!! the price definitely depends on how many guests you are having & which rooms also if its during the day or a night, the day of the week. who is your BM? what dates do u have in mind?

we are hoping to get either may 3rd or may 10th... we have an offer for a free honeymoon in aruba but have to take it during the last week of may in 08... and we cant do the weekend of may 17th b/c my MOH graduates college that weekend.... so either of those two dates are our first choice if not those, then any time really during the summer is fine, were not picky

we're inviting 225, but expecting about 200.... we were hoping for a night wedding, but will def go with during the day b/c i feel that will be more in our price range... i was just trying to get a sense of the prices at VYC b/c i LOVE LOVE LOVE it and hope we can book it next week!!!!!

definitely book with VYC!!! i cant even begin to tell you how beautiful it is!! the view is breathtaking!! do u want it on a sat night? how much do u want to spend per person? who are you dealing with right now?

we want to try and keep it at $100 a head which i know is practically unheard of for a night wedding... thats why im fully prepared to do a day wedding haha

yeah i've been telling my fiance that i have this warm fuzzy feeling about the VYC ever since i saw the pics online!!!!!

yeah i think during the day is your best bet if you want it at $100/pp. not sure exactly how much but i know for an evening wedding you cant get it at $100/pp. maybe a friday or sunday evening? the whole staff there are wonderful
