The place looks AMAZING. We were laughing with Bill at the tasting bc when we booked last Feb the place was in SHAMBLES! Bill was showing us 4 inch carpet and marble samples saying well this will be our carpet and this will be our dance floor oh and this fabric will be our window treatments. I never imagined it would be this beautiful.

If you are considering hiring a DOC...LOOK NO FURTHER THAN FRAN!!!! STOP THE SEARCH NOW!! She emailed me first thing this morning to ask about how the tasting went. She is really just amazing!

yeah i'm going for my food tasting prob sometime in feb- i havent decided when!! BTW thanks for the review on the food tasting! i cant wait to see VYC again!

Yep, it's Audreys. Their cakes are amazing BTW. They made up a sample plate for FH and I and we devoured it. Their canolli cream is so yummy.

My parents had to make a payment yesterday so I offered to go and pay so I could go stare and daydream in the rooms Guilio (my BM, he's awesome) wasn't there yesterday so I finally got to meet the notorious Daisy that apparantly everyone has dealt with except for me! Now I know why everyone raves about her, she was great

PS: I booked with Pedestals over the weekend (one of their house vendors) and I VERY HIGHLY recommend them. I met with Robert (head designer) and he was excellent. I'm lost when it comes to flowers. I have no clue what anything is unless it's a rose but he sat there and explained EVERYTHING to me, showed me a gazillion pictures of centerpieces and work that they've done before. He gave me a great package and a great price so if you haven't checked them out definitely go do it!!!!

Hi Ladies,

I just got engaged a couple of weeks ago and fell in love with the website for the VYC so I made an appointment to visit it this weekend. One question, I don't actually know anyone who has been there so I don't have first hand knowledge about the quality of the food. So far I've seen only great reviews but I was wondering if they let you do a food tasting before booking. I know some places only let you taste the food after you commit to the place and just do a tasting so you can choose your menu items. Does anyone know if you can do a tasting before you commit?

Yes you can schedule a tasting. Plus I assure you the food is delicious!!!!!

You're going to love it even more in person. Guilio and Daisy (I'm not sure if there are any other BM's) but they are both absolutely amazing!!!! If you have any questions about it...I've been there like 10 times now (I make excuses to go and just look and daydream at it lol)...I'm more than happy to answer them for you!!

i loved the vyc the first minute we bothed stepped in and mind you we were looking for months places and still had a few in mind but when we seen this place then there was no doubt for looking any further-- and yes we have guilio -- the best--- we also booked Pedestals florist and has Robert as our guy--- he is the best - gave us the best deal out of others we looked and he just overtop my vision as you can check it out in my album!!!

oh and yes i am having a sunday wedding fall wedding -- sept 30th -- it seems only sundays were available at that time...
