Too much.
Our dj was around 3K, but that included live music for the ceremony and CH.

thats not bad- i just started looking at dj's yest & pretty much everyone that i met with & what we wanted was 3500+

Have you tried to see if Howie Bongo is available for your date...He was booked for mine.. after hearing people rave about him I watched a demo and was hooked within a minute

I'm excited to see a thread. I love this place. When I talk to friends in Nassau (where I currently am) no one seems to familiar with it. My fiance's brother got married there 10 years ago and the new management only seemed to improve from being excellent to over the top now. The place is absolutely gorgeous when you compare to old photos.

Oh and ladies, I spoke to Bill about something and he updated me as usual...'On another note: The columns in Regency have been completed in marble & the outside deck flower boxes have been changed to black marble.
I thought I would keep you up to date on any changes. They both came out great.'

Our reception band is a popular Italian American band (MGM). It meant a lot to our families that we used them. I know it's on the super expensive side (sooo not what we planned for) but it was one the very few splurge items.
We're having a jazz trio at the CH.

Your band sounds great Brit. Karen thats great, once you deciede which DJ you want to book with one less thing to stress over. I was off of work today and was stressing because the holidays are here and I cant afford them
I really need to save up more money for the wedding.

Well Flowers can wait. People wait till a couple of months, but Flowers were on my top list. lol. I just bought BM necklaces for the girls today and maybe they will be my shoes for the wedding. Pics in my album. I am going shopping for there earrings this weekend and end of mid February ordering there dress or early March. I cant belive its almost January.
I am taking next Semester off because this wedding and working Fulltime is 2 much. I need to start working out after the holidays. So who so far would you book with for DJ?
