I see were it gets tough. I personally would not want to wait to go on a HM 2 weeks later but maybe go for 11 days and come back Friday. Thank stinks, Tatum. Sorry

I have the downstairs 2 rooms. The one on the left for the cocktail hour and the main one for the reception. Is anyone on this thread having their reception upstairs on 8/10/07?

And - it sounds like it is just a party, not a wedding....because where would the other CH be for the upstairs wedding...I think it is just a regular party..

Well I have both the downstairs rooms and there will be another wedding :(... Their CH will start before mine and then they will proceed upstairs...

I think if you have a large enough minimum they won't have another event at the same time. Our min is 175 and were told that there wouldn't be another evening event booked. I hope they stick to that

Another wedding was already booked before we booked. ( i think we have a Min of 160)
Believe it or not our date was one of the last dates available in the summer . And since I wanted to have it at the VYC so bad ( and didn't want to wait until 08), I was willing to book it even though I new there would be another wedding....

I hear ya, but I wouldn't worry too much - now they have bathrooms upstairs and downstairs so it is likely you won't even know there is another wedding once you are in party mode!
