Re: The first official Venetian Yacht Club aka VYC thread...
We are paying for the wedding ourselves unfortunately, but my dad said he will help a little in the end hopefully, I have gone over my budget . Since we are having the ceremony at the VYC not much time to go to the beach like I want, but we will see, probably around the premises and maybe the beach with my girls. For our honeymoon, we are saving on that because we have a timeshare and haven't stayed there yet so probably mexico or aruba. Not to far

Re: The first official Venetian Yacht Club aka VYC thread...
I am doing the VH and just spoke with Bill a week ago and need to redue my contract I will try to have him through it in. I wanted to go to Tahiti or Greece, HAwaii is beautiful, but its so far. Tahiti is far also, but going on vacation to either those two places cost so much. We are going with FM entertainment for our DJ. We liked Frank he was very nice, we are having MC/DJ, we added photo mantage and Zap photos. Who did you book for Photographer?

Re: The first official Venetian Yacht Club aka VYC thread...
I feel so out of it!
I am usually a 9-5 poster!
Anyhoo, if anyone CARES (Karen & Irene...JUST KIDDING! I haven't picked my dress yet, SUCH a nightmare! I am sooo confused, haven't picked BM dresses yet! Haven't booked DJ, I was planning on booking a certain DJ, but still waiting for him to find me a kick a$$ percussionist. Hmmm lets see, I have booked Velet Studio for pictures! whoo hoo! Our church will probably be in Babylon so we want to go probably to the Auboretium in Oakdale for pics, then stop at the Venetian Shores if we have time.
I was confused, when you were saying about people being there 1/2 hour early, were you talkign about the guests or the BP for the ceremony. Bill said that they open CH about 15 minutes before...
What else did I miss!?!?!

Re: The first official Venetian Yacht Club aka VYC thread...
I am having my ceremony at the VYC and they have the guests come 1/2hr early because they do not want them walking in Late. I wanted to know if they supply alcohol to them and food during that half hour. Tatum we love you!

We love seafood so definitely a must for us. What I always tell myself is that I will work it out somehow and that is how I am looking at it.

Re: The first official Venetian Yacht Club aka VYC thread...
The DJ is FM Entertainment. Frank is great! I just hope he pulls through for me....Velvet is great too. Bob was booked our day so we are using Judy & Caroline. I met with Judy, she was a doll, I am actually excited to have two women photograph our wedding. I think they will be more into the feeling of the day and I think I will feel more comfy with them...especially when it comes to getting dressed and all...not that I am into the wedding porn!
As stated before and as most people know, my dress saga continues, I have looked at pretty much every place on LI, and have tried on over 100 dresses. No joke.
I don't want to spend more than $1500 so I guess my taste exceeds that!
Anyhoo as for the 'adds' for the reception. We are not adding anything, I think that the VYC puts a pretty nice spread and we are trying to keep the cost down!
Ta ta for now gals!
