I just got off the phone with Audrey's bakery and they're making us a tray of cake and filling samples. I can't wait to try it all. We're pretty sure that we're going to get the canolli filling, but I want to taste it first. Yummmmmmmmm.

Did she call you or did you call her to deciede on the cake?

They don't normally do tastings. Bill said that I could just pick out of a book, but I really wanted to try some of the fillings to make sure that I really wanted the cannoli one. I decided to call them directly to see what they would do for us. I know that it's early, but we're not in NY all that often so I'm trying to get everything done over Christmas that I can.

Thank you for reminding me about this. I called Duet to see if we can schedule it for later in the day and they haven't called me back yet. I need to get on this. If Duet can do it later on then we're going to take pictures at the aquarium. I'm just worried that it will be too cold to do them outside. If not, then I'm headed out your way. I'll definitely let you know if we'll be at EAB plaza though. Our appointment is on the 27th.

I am trying to block rooms at a hotel and I was thinking the Hilton in Huntington, FH says we should find something closer, can you tell me where you guys are staying and if theres a nice hotel closer than Huntington. I might just block them anyway and tell him to not worry about it. I think I will get a shuttle for my guests also. Thanks

I'm pretty sure that's the closest hotel. That's where our block is.

Ditto! They are building new hotels (not sure if it is Marriot or Hilton, but the 56th fighter group. I don't think they will be ready by your weddings...although, I haven't driven by in a while.
