hey girls, i was wondering who had their reception upstairs and how many people attended. my min. is 140, but will it look too empty?

Hey all!!! I'm new to the site, and just found this thread!! Yay!! I'm so excited! So I love the chairs too, I vote no on the covers! We're also using both downstairs rooms for CH and reception.

What are you guys doing for flower colors? I was thinking sunset colors, or all white not sure yet though. Does anyone have a pic of the CP's they're using?

Hey, conrats on booking Venetian! I'm not doing chair covers either, I love the chairs the way they are.

My flower colors are Light Pink, Champagne and Ivory. I don't have a picture of my centerpieces but I will definitely post them when they do a trial for me!

can someone tell me the min for the upstairs room on a saturday night in may/june? i thought they told me 170 when i went there, but some girls said they were told 200 min guests for a saturday night? Anyone know ?

Hey ladies! My wedding was AWESOME! I haven't writte n my review yet but I will be sure to come back and let you know!

Our BM was Bill, he was awesome! Everyone was on top of their game. We had just over 200 guests, I cannot tell you how many compliments we got on our hall. Everyone pretty much agreed it was the most elegent classy wedding they have been to. The place is just amazing...

Will be sure to post review...still waiting on my proofs! :(

I am now a VYC bride - 6/6/09. In my opinion there was no other choice - we knew the minute we walked in that we found the 'one'

How exciting for us girls that TWOTY is going to be held at VYC...I've never been there for a party so it's going to be so amazing that we get to see a wedding happen there before we get married!!!!!!

About how many people are you having, and what is your date??? Those 2 factors are very important to determine how much it is going to be.

Or is her wedding there and you're just curious how much she's paying

I am using both rooms downstairs. I am having a minimum of 150 people.

On another note... is anyone using a band? If so who are you going with? I am hoping to use Body Heat but I haven't heard them in person yet.

Hi ladies! I'm close to booking VYC and was wondering if anyone was downstairs while a party was going on upstairs? Did you hear anything? Run into people? It's a big concern of my parents...

There isn't another party booked yet for the day we're looking at but if there is...
