Official August 2006 Thread. Come on in.

I figured we could start an official august thread and see what are we up to. I also want to know if I have a date twin.
me, nothing yet because I don't have money yet but most likely will start booking stuff hopefully at the end of this year, that's is if I find a job before then.

So post away.

I'm tania and my husband is Will. we are renewing our vows and having the wedding we never had since we got married on city hall and had no money then. I guess things never change.

just decided this after 12 years this month. We dont have anything done yet. We met with a caterer last weekend and are looking to get at least 2 more quotes.

We have decided on the colors, and style of food - Asian. It will be a backyard ceremony and tented reception. Skipping most of the traditional, and typical Long Island wedding extras. Want it to be as simplistic and 'zen' like as possible. Approx 85 ppl.

I have emailed a bunch of rental companies and caterers this week, so we will see what happens.

I am trying to get rental pricing from Party Rental Ltd and Ace Party Rental.

The event will be in Bohemia, in my sisters backyard.

Hey everybody, My wedding is Aug 20th also. I have gotten a lot out of the way early, so now I'm trying to sit back and relax.....which has not been so easy due to FMIL!!!!

Congrats, so far I reserved the date with the church, I bought my dress.
Everything else I will do hoepfully at the end of this year. need to find a job soon so that I can start saving up.

dress - went shopping..

nothing is really set, so im not sitting pretty.. but $$ is stresing me out...anyone else freaking out??
