Re: Chateau la Mer Thread
Wow, that's funny that you guys wrote the same things right after each other.Nick recomended the Huntington Hilton and the Melville Marriott (about 10mi I think) as the two closest hotels. There is another one that's closer, a Best Western on Sunrise that's only 4mi away, but it's been in various stages of expansion over the last year. Just recently did the front start looking normal as they added a pool, offices and more suites. It's right next to Caio Baby there, if anyone knows the area.

Re: Chateau la Mer Thread
Is the Huntington Hilton the one right off the LIE? That's the one I was thinking of when I said Hicksville by mistake. :)I can't believe how many new brides we are getting in the last few days. How exciting!

Re: Chateau la Mer Thread
Yeah, that's the one off the LIE. The Marriott is only a little further North on 110.

have any of you got quotes for the prices of the rooms at any of the hotels?? I want my guests to stay in a nice hotel, but I don't want them to pay too much.

Re: Chateau la Mer Thread
Wow, that's a pretty strange coincidence. You both live in the same area and both your parents booked the same hall for you a month apart from each other.HAHA! That's pretty cool.

You guys won't be disappointed in CLM...you;ll get to see some pictures in a monthI think that a regular room on a Saturday night at both hotels was like $149. That Best Western was like $99 a night.
