the only way i managed to get someone to call me to set up a tour was to call russos and tell them that they were not returning calls and have them call. I agree very frustrating!!!

As for other area hotels I originally wanted to block at the crowne plaza but they are another one whos sales team never responds they were $139/night

I have the contact info for the Hampton Inn if you are interested

I am waiting for their next showcase. I do not want a band, so I will go to the next showcase that has their DJ's. I heard it should be in April sometime.
BTW: What do you mean about Mr. Russo owning more than he lets on? Do tell.

you all get the note in the mail for the next showcase ( a DJ one).. from what it said it's the last one till September..anyone going?

By the way the name of the restaurant is Carasello's (excuse my spelling).

And wow I didn't know that Mr. Russo owned Designer Limos.. that's new to my ears.

I didn't choose my design yet, but I know that they have a big book with different designs that you get to choose from. I recently chose my cake flavor though - they give u a list of flavors (I posted them on this thread awhile back) and you pick the 3 you like the best and they make u 3 mini cakes with those flavors. You go home, taste them and the one you like the best is your cake If you don't like any of the 3, you give them 3 more flavors and they repeat the process for u...nice right? We chose cannoli and chocolate mousse...that combo is sooo yummy!!!

I went to the showcase in Feb but I'm thinking of going to the one in April again!! We live 5 mins away and we just LOVE going there!!

Besides---we're thinking of doing the linens package and it will be on display!

I know I live in Far Rockaway so it's not a hassle for us to get there.. I think I am gonna go to this one though.. I am hoping that our DJ from SoundCheck (Mike) is going to be there- FH saw him perform at the February showcase I think (I couldn't make it because I had to work).

I gotta call Kelly and ask her if they're going to be there though. Otherwise I might just go for the heck of it.. I love going there!

ours were from their book design and we really love it and it was napoleon with stawberry filling.
