It was VERY GOOD!!!!!! The waiter Hugo was great. Answered any questions we had. We started a bit late (around 10) and we were there til around 12:30-1. Of course Mr. Russo came by to see what we thought and I think that is one of the reasons I love Russo's. The menu was a little different then the one we are having because it was the fall menu and we are having the summer menu. They walked us through the Vienesse set up to see all that would be offered.

Wow ...I have to call and plan my tasting but I can't wait.. all that food!

I acutally spoke to Toni Ann (our BM) to see what we can do for the tasting- she has to call me back soon about the date.

I'm glad that you said something about dressing up for this - otherwise I would have been really sticking out like a sore thumb.

Great!!!! Now you will be getting the food from a night wedding right so it won't exactly be the types of food you are getting at your wedding. Or are they doing something else for you? Who is your BM?

Toni Ann is our BM- we have a diffrent menu but honestly I'm just happy that we're getting a tasting at all. I have eaten at Russo's so many times but FH never had the food so I know he's really looking forward to it.

We had a wonderful time at our tasting and it was a great night out. The service was terrific and they answered any questions we had. Of course the food was fabulous!!!!

What did you wear to the tasting? I don't want to over or under dress.. I just got the call today to confirm that all is set for Sunday.

I wore a suit and my daughter wore a black dress. The guys wore suit jackets. There will be a wedding going on so they don't want you to look conspicuous. Have a wonderful time!!! Go hungry!!!!!

My wedding is March 14th and I didn't go yet! We've literally had something to do every single weekend from October! I'm going to call next week and set something up for January! LOL

Ahh cool I was planning on wearing a nice blouse and skirt since I'll have hair and makeup done that day since I am having a trial (minus my headpiece and veil) earlier in the day before the tasting.

To set one up you have to get in touch with your BM and see if they can arrange it.


LoL yes when they called to confirm they said 'no sneakers, no jeans and come hungry'...LoL I really believed them on that.

Just an update on the tasting- everything was FABULOUS!!! FH was very impressed (he never ate at Russo's before whereas I have).

Hugo was our waiter for the evening and answered any and all questions we had on the dishes. When the desserts (Mini Venetian) were being served, Mr. Russo himself came in and asked how everything was and answered a few questions for us as well. FH and I were treated like royalty.

I was super excited and FH was like a pig in mud literally. He went home stuffed and really not so nervous about things - which is good.

We got there a bit early - they said 9pm but we got there at 8:30pm due to the weather.
There were parties going on in all three rooms so we got to see the set up for a wedding in the Tivoli and Ren rooms- everything was so beautiful! Of course we're having the Tivoli room so I was excited to see how it's set up with the dais and such.
We left Russo's about 11:30pm-12 midnight and both of us were so very happy

I haven't set a date yet...the last few weeks have been absolutely crazy! I'm actually going to try and call tomorrow and set something up for January!
