hello everyonee!

i'm new to the site and i was reading through all of your comments and Russo's and i am convinced that i want my wedding to be there. i've been to a wedding there a few years ago and i lovedddd the idea of coming out of the wall in the ren. room.

but i was hoping that some of you could help me out. i wanted to know how early i should consider booking Russo's to ensure that i get the day we want. we're shooting for mid november for the ren room cause we're expecting about 400 people and i know they accomodate a little more than 400. i also wanted to know how what i should expect the pricing to be like for a saturday night in november.

i absolutely loveeee Russo's and i see that you all love it as well and am hoping that you can help me have the wedding of my dreams the way i see many of you have had.

I went a little over a year in advance and there where no saturdays left. That is why I am having it on a friday.

Definitely look into it now. We booked our April 08 wedding in February 07 and there were not many dates available for the rest of the year.

I am having mine on a Friday in April and it is $100 per person. November is a prime month and Saturday is a prime night. If you want a specific date go now. Run! My BM told me they usually book two years in advance.

Hi!

We booked our wedding almost 2 years in advance and there were other days in the month that were already booked. The BM told us people book there while they are still only dating as prices tend to increase drastically from year to year. As a matter of fact they were probably the only reception hall we met with that didn't look at us like we had two heads each when we said summer of 09.

Not sure how much Saturday nights are in the off season but we're having it on a Sunday morning and doing the brunch menu and it's considerably less expensive compared to a Fri or Sat night.

Also if anyone is going to the showcase we need a detailed report!!

Ok I got a really dumb question... I am doing wine bottle favors (that will be wrapped up in bags and distributed to the guests as they leave)... does this go against Russo's policy of no bringing in food onto the premesis?

I'm almost positive that a wine bottle is just considered a favor. But call Russo's to ask.

I updated the list and separated it by year as well so we don't get confused- if anyone needs to be added on let me know.. also Miz they had you down as an 07 bride!

Oh btw I am meeting with Toni Ann on Feb 17th to start finalizing stuff- I'll let you know how things go!!

Also to let you know they said yes to the wine bottle favors!
