I think that they might be a little higher than your average place - but I am not sure (maybe bc they cake was a little more $ than I originally expected). We ended up getting a rediculously huge cake (IMO), but I definitely wanted to go with them because they are my favorite bakery by far (I didn't shop around), and everything I have ever gotten from them has been delicious. They do have a website if you wanted to check it out.... good luck!

I'm having the ceremony at De Seversky....fingers crossed outside...you????

we are doing an all white theme...so there will be two large 'altar' pieces and rose petals down aisle and hydrangea bunches on side of chairs.

hello girls...i am new here, and we just went to the deseversky mansion last night and i loved it, however the price was a little high $130 for a friday night in sept. plus the site fee of $2,500. this was without any bargaining, will they come down or should i find a less expensive venue?

Keeping my fingers crossed for the outside as well. John is putting up 9ft tall trees with lots of orchids and crystals and gonna light up the trees. And by the aisle runner we are putting tall glass vases filled with flowers candles and gonna light up the vases as well. 6 on each side, Thats why i gotta pray its not gonna rain!!!! If its gonna rain are u gonna do it in garden room

honestly we didnt even try to bargain with them so i have no idea.

Definately speak to them!! Depending on the size of your wedding...there can definately be some flexibility...there is no way to negotiate the site fee, because they are run by the college, there are definately rules that they cant break. Good Luck!

Ceremony - outside or in ballroom, if rainy
Cocktail hour - various rooms - library, etc.
Reception - Ballroom
Dancing - Garden room

Cocktail hour: in all the various rooms (hopefully mostly on the terrace)
Dinner and Dancing: in ballroom

Melissa, told me they hold tastings the first Wednesday of every month... Call tomorrow, see if they can add you in.. I think you have to make a reservation, it's at 7:30
