Thanks guys!!! Yeah...it is so surreal that it is only about 6 days away...it hasnt hit me yet!! I will def be sure to share pics and, of course, a review! But...I am sure everything will be perfect with de Seversky

Where is everyone pricing for their hotel blocks? I went to the Claremont today and plan to visit the Garden City Hotel and the Marriot near Nassau Coliseum. Let me know!

How was the Claremont? I want to check it out for hotel blocks, and if it's too expensive maybe I would just get ready there.

Id love info too! I cant seem to find a hotel nearby! Ours was $189 a night at the Claremont. They do not offer the Bride/Groom a free night unless you book upwards of 40 rooms???

We were planning on tipping at the tasting, but FHand I never carry cash and they would not allow the tip to be put on credit card, so we never did.

Did you straighten out the issue with the tastings, will you be able to do a second one closer to the wedding??

btw- make sure you go there starving, the food is sooo good and they give you a lot!!!

Re hotels...we booked at the Andrew in Great Neck. We are receiving the suite complementary for 2 nights and you only have to guarantee half of the rooms you reserve. I checked out the Great Neck Inn and the Claremont and both required that I was responsible for paying for all but 5 of the rooms I reserved if they weren't booked. Just some food for thought...

I booked homewood suites and also have to guarantee 1/2 the rooms I reserved.

Im surprised to hear that. The Claremont told me that up to 10 rooms I am not responsible. I have to get to the rest of the pricings. Thanks everyone!

Are we allowed to do 2 tastings? I would love to do one soon!
