Maybe I can try table numbers. FH and I are in love with bears (our cake top will be bears) maybe I can do something with that.
hmmmmmm let me think about that
That's a bear-y cute idea

Re: Official 40+ Brides
Should the table number by 5x7 or bigger?

I might do table numbers and donation scrolls. I'm just not a DIY lady. Do you think it's neccessary. Both of our familes wouldn't care at the wedding. That's just how they are.![]()
![]()
Definitely not- it's totally up to youIt's easy to do though. Just type in the wording on Word (two on one regular sized piece of paper) and print and you're done. Table numbers my DH did lol...but it didn't look hard to do. I bought the frames at the dollar store. :)
Anyone need any help, please let me knowI'd be happy to help you!!!!!!!!!

I tell everyone my DIY project is paying for things to get done !
I am not a crafty person in the least. I just don't have the patience for it. I used to pay my younger sister to wrap Christmas presents for me!
So, unfortunately, no DIY project for me - I will, however, look at all the lovely things I had people manufacture for me and

Re: Official 40+ Brides
Since we are older ladies, we was have help a lot of people through the years. This is the time to call in favors. We must know at least three people who can help us to our DIY projects. It can't hurt because they will have enough time to do it right or we will do what geegee827 said and have manufacture make it look pretty.

Oh God! I feel the same way!!! On the bright side I just have to remind myself that when I was 22-23 years old I was livin' it up - not planning a wedding. I was going to Club Meds and hanging in NYC with my girlfriends and traveling through Europe! And, meeting lots and lots of guys and having fun. I said in a previous post that I had to kiss a lot of frogs to find FH (my prince) but oh my God - sometimes it was so much fun!

We did 5x7. I think that's the 'normal' size for em
it's also easy to find less expensive frames.

I feel the same way. But the difference is that i was getting married the 1st time in my 20's and what a difference this time around is. I was more worried about the party and the party afterwards than the actual marriage itself. ithiught that things would be differnt after we got married that we would both grow up over nite. Well it took me a while but I did, but my ex never did. Still to this day (he will be 50 in Feb) still partying.
Any way, went off a a little rampage here.
i still feel like these girls mothers.

I swear, you would think that turning 30 was a crime! I absolutely loved my 30's!! They were my best decade so far (although I have extremely high hopes for the 40's too).
GRRRRRR! I just feel old and shriveled today.....
ETA: sorry for the vent - I think I just needed to 'talk' to some people in my own age group!
