So is everyone wearing a headpiece and veil or something else.
i am going to just wear a real pretty comb. No veil
I wore a veil and tiara. I wanted a romantic traditional look...I got both where I bought my dress...the veil matched the dress so I had to get it lol-it had the same crystals as my dress. I wore my hair half up half down.

I WISH we had gotten engaged there - that would have made it perfect. However, we didn't get engaged until about 8 months after the trip. However, on our last night, we were walking on the beach in Maui and FH looked at me and said 'you know we're coming back here on our HM, don't you?'

Was CP's a big deal for you. I'm not a flower person, so I was thinking of taking the ones RH was giving me free? I'm not giving them away so is that a bad idea?

Re: Official 40+ Brides
CP are definately not a big deal for me. My mom wants to make mine. The are going to be a siMple vase with some silk flowers in them. If she didnt want to make them I would have gone with the CP from the RH too.

I'm learning more about myself as I plan the wedding. I am finding that a lot of things I just don't care about.

I was speaking to FH about card boxes yesterday. I told him that I really didnt want it. He likes the idea. So i am going to go by his opinion and get a card box. I was looking at some of them. I really didnt like those elaborate 3 tiered one but I came across this which I kinda liked. What do you guys think

I'm so sorry. ITA that the photog is the most important vendor...when you think of it they are really in charge of your memories!!!!They can do so many things with photos nowadays though. I'm sure you will get it fixed so that you can have pics with just you and just DH

I love it-simple and elegant. But...as an FYI...
please don't hate me for saying this...I'm paranoid about these things
but, I chose a regular (closed) card box partly because I read some stories on here about brides not coming home with all their cards
I believe they had a birdcage for their cards....they came home and found that not all their cards were there and found out that people had actually given them cards....who knows what happened but you never know...sorry just don't want anything to happen to any of us or our cards

Re: Official 40+ Brides
I'm not sure what I'm doing about a card box. I'm Italian so of course my entire family thinks I should do the satin bag routine. I guess it's another one of those things I'll figure out eventually...Who knew there were so many decisions to be made?
