Ladies, are you using vendor that are on LIW or outside vendor. I am looking outside the box for some of them. I need some ideas.

The only vendors I used from here were my makeup and hair artists. Everyone else I found on my RH recommended vendor list....which vendors are you searching for right now? For ex we loved our photog, he has a photojournalistic style but also takes great posed shots.

I wore pearls that my late father gave to me. I bought a pair of pearl and crystal earrings and matching bracelet online at annabellagio.com...if any of you ladies isn't sure what DOJ to get this is a great website bec it matches styles of jewelry to your dress neckline, whether your dress has pearls or crystals or whatever, and so forth

As far as vendors go, I'm using a mixture. Some of the vendors I booked I had already heard about and they turn out to be LIW vendors - like my photographer. He has done several of our friends weddings and we knew we were going to book him - I had no idea that he's a vendor here.

Thanks, I still need some feedback. Any other ladies are using LIW vendor or not? Please let me know.

I went to the Wedding Plaza in Floral Park and booked their package. I dont need alot of flowers or a whole bunch of Limos so this was perfect. They even cusomized a few things for me.
In the package I got pics/video, limo,flowers,dj, and tux for FH.
I havent figured out where I a mgetting my invites or favors from yet though

Wine a good idea, but my family are hard drinkers. I wanted to give chocalate candy bars, but my FH thinks we are giving them enough food, so the search as begun.

I'm using my friends florist from Forest Hills Citibuds were are only doing bk and bt we will use the RH's CP to save money, my friends DJ company, invites I found on here for about 240 for 100 invites, favors we are doing a donation, photo/video still searching for our price range we may use FSIL friend. Our offciant and RH are LIW vendors.Hair and makeup I won at the 09 shower other wise I would have hade a friend's mother do it to save money.

Great favor!! I think that is one favor Iwould really like lol.
We did donations in lieu of favors, to honor our dads. We wanted to do donations to an animal organization also.

I have changed my mind about the favors so many times that FH has said each time I come up with a new idea, 'but i thought we were doing this'. He finally said to me just let me know what ever you pick, its fine with me. I think I was driving him crazy about the favors.

That's why I love him at the last second he will hit it out the park. See I am crazy I have this thing with doing everything as one union. Black, white and Red it can stand for us and the blood that floats through our body. Two different cultures become one. Since my name is Renay and his is Charles, I've name the party as Ray Charles. Another color theme I am looking at is cream, chocolate and rose. That's why I like the candy bars everyone is sexy chocolate and chocolate comes in three favors: milk, dark, and white. See where my brain goes.

I love those ideas Renay!! ...when we were planning our wedding, FH was a lifesaver. He made the donation scrolls, the table numbers, and because of a stupid mistake I made -forgetting his sister's name as part of the BP on the programs- he reprinted and made them all again for me/us. They may not be as into it all we are lol but they are definitely there when it counts!!
