What color is everyones wedding? Are you doing a snowflake theme, a christmas theme, or something entirely different?

Mine is black and white w/ lots of red poinsettias.

we're doing cranberry and silver ... at least cranberry dresses and somehow incorporating silver into it with jewelry and flowers. i'm looking into the snowflake theme, but not really sure yet what we're going to do yet. i love poinsettias and hope to use them with candles as centerpieces (once we find our florist -- i'm a bit of a procrastinator!).

Yay December brides!!

I was originally doing black and white..b/c I was positive I was getting a diamond white dress, but my dress is ivory, so Ithink I will focus on black and ivory. Everything else is going to be so holiday themed (church and hall) that I didn't want to go overboard with the traditional holiday colors.

I feel like I am a little behind...I'm worried that SO much will creep up in the Fall so I am trying to cross stuff off the list, and not having much luck

I still need flowers and limos. I know which invites I want (and figured out the wording) Just waiting to order them.

I just did flowers, if it makes you feel better. According to my bridal book, you can wait awhile for limos. Hope that helps!! 5 more months!

where has the time gone? i can't believe it's less than five months away! i clearly remember last summer when i had well over 350 days to plan!

well, being the procrastinator that i am, we are slowly putting things together. we recently did flowers and are now working on invites, favors, registering, and an officiant. my dress came in a few weeks ago (it's beautiful!) and we're now waiting for the BM dresses to be in at the end of this month. i'll be happier when i get more things done!

I am really behind still. I have picked out the BM dress, but we haven't ordered them (one of my BM's is on her own HM this week). We still have some major to-do's left. need to do florist, dj and limos though I am leaning twds a certain limo company based on all of the reviews I've seen here from others.

My mom and FMIL just got their dresses, and now FH's step mom has to find hers.

SO much to do!

I am extremely worried about the fall creeping in as well. We have something to do (not related to our wedding) for every weekend until the first week in September- which is my shower! Totally insane.

I'm trying to pick out invitations, but I'm having a very difficult time. I want something festive, but nothing that SCREAMS holy Christmas!!

My mom bought her dress about 2 weeks ago and now I'm just trying to focus on all of the little things that still need to be completed.

I have always wanted a Christmas wedding----It's our favorite time of year----and I totally think that the guests will be in a festive mood!
Also, we are teachers who didn't want to get married in the summer! There is a vacation so it's perfect!!!!!!

I feel it!! All of a sudden I am in full panic mode

I just ordered invitations...and I am booking Sugar Magnolia's this week...yes I still don't have flowers booked. I called BS of Bay Shore and they said my dress will be in next month! And I am deciding between 2 companies right now for limos

So much to do still!

Hey Jus and the rest of the December brides!!

Right now Matt and I are concentrating on picking out an invitation we both like! and that's within our budget.

Also my BM dresses came in last week- I went to see them and I absolutely love the color!!

We have one more wedding to attend this summer and after that I will really start to buckle down with all of those pesky little things!

Aaww... We have our own thread!!!!!

We chose to have a winter wedding because we met during the winter so the season means a lot to us. We will have celebrated our three years anniversary (also my birthday!) two days before our wedding day! I couldn't imagine getting married at any other time of the year.

There is soooo much left to do! I still need to:
Order my veil
Pick out shoes
Dress fitting
Find undergarments
Hair trials
Pick out place card holders, favors and table numbers
Gift for everyone in the bridal party
Finish loosing weight
Make final guest list (FH keeps adding to the list)
Send out invitations
Honeymoon clothes shopping
Wedding gift for FH

I am sure there is more that I am forgetting.
I can not believe this weekend I will be at the 5 month mark. I am not ready!

what you guys doing for table numbers? or placecard holders? cps? I'm on the fence about so much! I keep going back and fourth .......

I think CPS I may just go simple and elegant ...
black magic roses with white pillar candles since the linens and chair covers are white. What do you guys think about that???

hi december gals!

i wish time would stand still for a bit so i could get some more wedding things done. but, things are moving, slowly, but still moving!

we're working on invitations now ... most likely will go with a pocketfold and a snowflake theme. we're just waiting to see a sample in our colors first (cranberry and silver) before we decide.

our centerpieces will have hurricane lamps and white pillar candles in the middle and then evergreens, white and red roses and carnations, pine cones, a touch of baby's breath and seeded eucalyptus. i'm also going to try to find some silver snowflakes that we can incorporate into them. we have oblong tables, so they will be oval sizes, not round.

as for a honeymoon, we're toying with bermuda, but aren't sure yet.

my dress is in and our bridesmaid dresses just came in (i'm picking up 2 today for my out-of-town bms -- can't wait to see them!) i still need to book our officiant and register, as well as some other odds and ends.

Im not too worried about the weather because all of our arrangements will be in doors. I want to take pictures at Old Westbury Gardens.


Did you guys start looking for BM dresses? I want them to wear deep red or cranberry gowns (I know not too original) and carry white muffs instead of flowers. Hopefully it will look nice!
