okay date twins ... how's it going?

sorry, but i'm barely on here these days ... driving myself crazy just finishing up last minute DYIs and other things. dropped all my stuff off at the watermill tonight and tomorrow i go pick up my dress!!! it's hard to believe that our wedding is this saturday ... just 3 days away. i still can't believe that it will actually be me in the dress and in the pictures this time around!

i'm so excited and have been told that i'm 'glowing' by the girls at school. they gave me a nice shower yesterday and rumor has it that my kids and their parents are giving me one tomorrow afternoon. i just hope that i remember to stand back and take everything in, even just for one minute. i truly want to always cherish this day!

aww Jenn, that sounds so sweet what everyone is doing for you at your school- enjoy every second of it!!

And enjoy every minute of your day on Saturday!!!!

I am also picking up my dress tomorrow, as the bridal shop thinks my wedding is this Saturday too!

i am getting my dress today too!! how exciting!!

ok girls... i am getting things done!!
i got my hair colored , eyebrows waxed (which i didnt like how they came out)

i still have to pay the florist today...
wrap the BP gifts.. write out thank you's for them also..

and pack for HM!!!

I hope you all had fun picking up their dresses today!

We had to make special arrangements with my bridal shop because the seamstresses will already be gone for the holidays by the time I get back to NY, but my mom didn't want to pick it up on her own at the risk of me missing one of the 'biggest pre-wedding moments for a bride'. I hope it's as exciting as she's making it out to be!

It wasn't too exciting....my mom met me at the mall and then we brought the dress to the car- she went home and I went shopping with my FH I am VERY excited though that it is home!!!!

mine was fine ... not too exciting either, but it actually made everything feel more real! actually i had wanted to pick it up today instead of last night but they told me no because no seamstress would be in. i didn't need one last night anyway, so that annoyed me.

but i'm excited to have my dress at my parents house. the only confusing thing was ... the woman at the bridal salon told me to take the dress out of the bag and drape the train over a chair so it wouldn't wrinkle. sounds easy enough ... but it actually took awhile to try to figure out how to do that! and i'm still not exactly sure that it's right!!!

to the 12/8 girls - best of luck tomorrow!!! congratulations and have a wonderful honeymoon - when you get back definitely post pics.

Tricia, I had a similar story w/ the bridal shop - we went for the final fitting she just directed me to - 'go to the back' they ordered the veil in white and my dress is ivory and they were like you were the girl who wanted the darker veil. I of course responded, yes, I wanted the veil to match my dress. Truly. They have been horrific. I think the concept of customer service is a thing of the past. Three weeks from tomorrow!!

Anyway, I'm so last minute, I just got my bridal jewelry and hair come yesterday; ordered my favors online today as well as the personalized favor tags; and my bridal party's gifts. So now I'm pretty much done. Still need to do bathroom baskets and buy gift bags for the hotel welcome bags. That will be this weekends project.
