After a ridiculous amount of time spent agonizing over the HM..we FINALLY booked!! 7 nights at the Sandals Grande Antigua! So much freaking money just b/c of the time of year (Christmas week) I hope it will be worth it!!

Same here date twin!! We're doing 8 nights at The Grande St Lucian ... i thought the price was good though - did you get it when the promotion was running??

haha I just did mine too ... sending them tomorrow .. I think its better because its a fresh reminder and the holidays are so crazy. So, thats why I waited so long for mine too.

My wedding invites will be going out October 1st with an RSVP date of November 12th. What is everyones time frame for that??

your invites are beautiful! ours are in the works now and i should have them by mid-september. we're having them custom done. i'm planning to send them out by the end of september, with a rsvp date of november 1st.

i actually sent out stds in april, which i wanted to do earlier but never did. tonight we're registering!

december gals, where is the time going???? there's just way too much to do now and not much time left!

We still have to do all the little things, like programs. When are you guys ordering your invites? I think we're going to order them mid-September and send them in the beginning of October.

Yes..they extended the promotion , so we were able to lock that in. I just feel like we are paying a lot, (7K) and we don't even have one of the rondovals or HM suites. It's okay though. I am happy to have it crossed off the list.

I'm new to liweddings and thought I'd drop a note to say hi.


I've really been getting an I want this wedding to happen now itch after seeing so many people I know get married in the past 4 months, but after this heat wave I'm glad to be waiting until the chilly month of December with the rest of you.

oh my god, i just was reading the post i wrote about looking at the vendors from wedding world, sure glad i didnt go there..lol

We're sending the invitations out the first week in October and using 11/22 as the response date as well.


Of course, the invitations arrived at the house over a month ago and we've already assembled them, so right now I'm impatiently awaiting the trip to the post office to send them off.

I'm a december bride too - 12/29/07 - not sure if I ever updated the profile. I'm not on here too often, clearly... so I'm tyring to catch up. We picked December b/c my fiance is in school and I didn't want a hot day, b/c the last thing I would want to do is sweat on my wedding day.

My invitations just came in picking them up this weekend we ordered them from party city. I will send them out the end of the month w/ a response date of 11/15.

Getting married at the deSeversky Center. I just booked my florist this past weekend. Next is the cake since deSeversky does not provide us w/ the wedding cake. My dress is in, but I am not going until the last week of October - do you think that's too late. I keep trying to lose more weight before the fitting.

Where is everyone going on their honeymoon? We are going to Nevis in the Caribbean

we're going to Punta Cana! We cannot wait.

I think the first week of Nov is fine for your fitting. My dress is supposed to come in sometime in October, and I'll be going up then for a fitting. I'm hoping to lose at least another 15 lbs. we'll see!
