Hi watermillies! I did my menu on Sunday! I can't believe I only have a month to go.

You don't get to taste the cakes, unfortunately. That's why they do the showcases.

i tasted the cakes at the last showcase--they had a chocolate mousse/cannolli filling. i thought it was yummy.

Yummy!!!! We are having the chocolate fountain and the cappucino mousse for our dessert choice so we got yellow cake with cannoli and fresh strawberries to balance out all of the chocolate!

Can't wait to tell you all how it goes in a month! I got all teary-eyed when I walked in on Sunday...can't imagine how I'll be on the big day.

I got choked up the first time I went there. FH and I just fell in love the moment we went in. I can't wait to see your review of the wedding. I'm sure it'll be beautiful!!!

OOooh, I'm 12/1/07...!!! Can't wait!!!!!! I love the title Watermillies!!!! We have the Astor room (upstairs) Our night will be the first night the carolers are singing!! Anyone else getting married around christmas, do you know if you can ask them to tone down the decorations in your cocktail hour? We saw some pictures and it was a little too Christmasy for my taste. I mean I LOVE the holidays, but I want it to feel a little more like a wedding.

i think you can talk with your banquet manager about it, i'm sure they would understand! that's what they are there for, to help make your day go smooth!

I got something in the mail telling me to call to make my appointment. That was over a month ago.
I would think you should be getting that soon - or you could just call them to check!

As far as the direction cards go, I got my invites through Samantha, so she gave me the cards when I placed my order.
When are you sending out your invites? I'm sure you could just stop by the Watermill and pick direction cards up.

Ooh, have fun!!
For ours, I walked in (along with FH, my dad and stepmom) armed with pictures of ice sculptures, cakes, lists of questions. Lol. Jim told me I was so organized! It was a fun night!

Girls, I got married at the Watermill on 11/18. Let me just tell you....the staff, the service, the food...was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
