Re: 'Official Jericho Terrace Thread'!
Now I feel really bad that I was pretty hard on Anna but she did make me feel like a child. And I didn't even say anything and my cousin had the same opinion. FH saw how upset I was after I came home. But like I said when we went in there last week, 10xs better.
FMIL said it must be Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde. As long as I have the best day of my life and the food is wonderful and all my guests enjoy my wedding anything previous to my day will never outshine the actual wedding day. I KNOW now that they will be very accomadating with my minimum situation and such.
Good Luck to all the brides getting married there in the next couple weeks. Can't wait for your reviews.

Re: 'Official Jericho Terrace Thread'!
She said next time I meet with her we can discuss my options then. Such as adding an extra ice carving, or putting an espresso cordial bar, adding bottles of wine to each table. She said Mike is the sales manager and will be in that day to clear everything added on through him.Like I said it was 10x's better than before and she was more accomadating this time than before.

I was wondering what kind of centerpieces all of you were thinking about...mine need to double as decorations for the ceremony, so I can't do anything too unconventional, but I was wondering who's going with high and who's going with low....

I'm here. Not sure what to do now that the hall is booked. I have an appt at Pedestals next wednesday, to get an idea on a budget for the flowers that i want. I am not sure what centerpieces we'll do, I was hoping to see pics of what you guys do. I am SO excited about having booked the hall. Just trying to gather ideas now for the rest of the wedding aspects. What should I do next? What photographers/florist/etc are you guys using? I was at last showcase, and think all our vendors will be JT vendors!

Hi!!My RD is tomorrow and I can't sleep...
I am doing tall centerpieces. If I can get my hands on a scanner, I will post it for you.
I am using Stefans..not to crazy about the guy we are working with..Joe..he seems a little nervous and slightly unprofessional, but so far the centerpieces he has shown us are very pretty. I had to use them because my FMIL knew Joe...otherwise I would have def went with Pedastals..
Ms. Kitty - I just posted my engagement pics..I am really lazy..I took them a few weeks ago...my wedding it next week. I am using Fine Art and I am really pleased with the way they came out. Check them out!! They are recommended by jericho terrace...
My favorite other photographers that I have seen on this site are Duet, Creative Compositions, and Imagine!!! I know Duet is extremely reasonably priced and their work looks awesome. Not sure what the other two photographers charge, but their work is really nice as well..

Enjoy your rehearsal dinner! That is so exciting!!! I think that I have to go with the florist my mom deals with (James Cress) for work, especially since it's a relative of one of her employees. If you could try to post a pic with your centerpiece in your Bride's Review (which you'd better be doing!
), that would be great. That's good feedback about Fine Art and Duet. We're going to check them out, and also Patken. What made you choose Fine Art? I loved your engagement pictures! You really are an adorable couple.

Hi! We booked Pedastals. It was between Pedastals and Burtons and to me Burtons seemed to be a little sktechy. We are paying alittle more are Pedastals but I don't think the price is that bad. We are doing low centerpieces because my mother is against the tall ones....that's fine with me because I don't care too much about the centerpieces. For photography we are going broke with Sherwood-Triart. Pictures was the one thing I really cared about and wanted to spend money on. They are more expensive than Patken and Fine Art but we liked their style and work the best. They aren't recommended by JT but I know they work there alot. Good Luck!

Re: 'Official Jericho Terrace Thread'!
Actually, according to the sheet they gave me when I booked at JT, Sherwood Triart IS recommended. Make sure your photographers eat for free!

Re: 'Official Jericho Terrace Thread'!
HI, I just wanted to add that my sister got married at the Jericho Terrace alittle over a yr ago and I have to say that the service was great! She was also in the dome room that packed in around 250+
It was tight,(she didnt expect all these people to say ,YES) but we all managed to eat, drink and dance all nite long. Dancefloor was packed!
It was great and had my sister not gotten married there, it would of been a place I would consider.
Lots of luck, its going to be great!

Re: 'Official Jericho Terrace Thread'!
Thank you! I was worried about the dance floor being tight for the 150-160 we're expecting, so that's good to know!

Jill, we're having the same rooms and about the same number for invites (oh, and we're also having the skylight room for the ceremony). Seems like everyone will fit very nicely!

Thanks re: the rd/engagement pics. I am def going to do a review...don't u worry!!
I chose Fine Art before I started using this site. I really liked the photographer/owner that I spoke with..Jimmy. His work was great and I am also camera shy...so he was really cool and I felt like I would be extremely happy/comfortable working w/ him. Here are a few negatives. A friend's sister was getting married and Jimmy was on the contract as her photographer..he sent different photographers...they asked why Jimmy was not there and their answer was 'he's disorganized'..I'm thinking 'GREAT'!!!!! Next, we go to our engagement shoot and usually the photographer u choose to work with on the day of your wedding takes the pics..not in my case...some other guy took the pics. I luv them, but it would have been nice to Pre-see Jimmy's work. I have a week b4 my wedding and plan on ironing out all of this b4 my day...Good luck w/ your choice...I will fill u in soon on the outcome!!
