So, Why did you pick a december wedding
I think winter weddings are truly romantic!

** DECEMBER BRIDES!! It's getting close!!
What do you have left to do ? I'm feeling the pressure now because I have been slacking!!

if you see my apartment during the holidays, you'd know why i picked december for my wedding. and i'm even a teacher!!! nothing was stopping me from having my special day take place during the most 'wonderful time of the year!' my FH originally wanted to stay away from a december wedding because of the holidays, but he realized how much it meant to me to get married during this time of year and compromised!

Hey everyone! Like Justine, I am soo excited to hit the one year mark! I feel like everyone else is a year or under already and I'm ready to join that club!!! How is everyone's planning going?? The last major vendor I have to book is the limos, but I am waiting on my FILs on that one. Also, in two weeks I am going to try on dresses for the first time! I am so excited and cannot wait! Hi! We picked December because our anniversary of dating is on Dec. 13 and because the Milleridge Inn is gorgeous in winter. So glad to see other December brides! Anybody else starting to worry about the weather?

Im not too worried about the weather because all of our arrangements will be in doors. I want to take pictures at Old Westbury Gardens.Did you guys start looking for BM dresses? I want them to wear deep red or cranberry gowns (I know not too original) and carry white muffs instead of flowers. Hopefully it will look nice!

I also want my girls in deep cranberry/wine color- I'm not original either
I like the muff idea! I'm thinking about getting a white wrap thing for the girls- we shall see! I'll let you know if I find anything!

i feel like i haven't been on this site in ages! since school started (i teach 3rd grade), i'm consumed with work and don't have much time to chat. but, that said ... here's my update!boy i'm so far behind you gals ... we're still looking at photographers and djs! but the reception and church are booked. but more importantly, i found my dress and it's definitely the dress of my dreams!
i, too, am thinking of deep red/wine for bridesmaid dresses and i'm trying to throw silver into the mix somehow. my bridesmaids are all different shapes and sizes so i'm considering separates and letting them choose the best look for them. we'll see how it goes.

We're thinking a deep purple for the BM dresses. It's FH's favorite color, too.
