Hi girls!!!!

Had my shower on Saturday - my BMs and mom did a really nice job. Everything was awesome!!

This is a big week -

First fitting on Wednesday

Meeting and food tasting with hall on Friday.

Picking up rings on Saturday.

Hair Trial on Sunday.

Maybe getting our marriage license on Friday if we have time!!

Can you believe we are within our 60 day mark this week?!?!

What are you up to?

I just hit 60 days today and I can't believe it! I got a bunch of stuff done this weekend, but there is still so much more to do!

I put away most of our shower gifts.

Returned/exchanged some broken gifts.

Went over the wedding budget and timeline w/ my parents.

Went over the menu w/ my FH.

I am finishing the invitations today!! They are going out tomorrow!

Is anyone else having wedding dreams every night? Not nightmares really, just stressful wedding dreams?

BCTM33, I'm jealous of you! I have a little pile of gifts that need to be returned/exchanged and I wish I could just do it already! There's so much stuff sitting around the house, it's driving me crazy.

Okay...

I had my final menu meeting on Tuesday which went perfectly.

The hall made a sample wedding cake for me (carrot cake w/ cream cheese icing) that I picked up yesterday - SOOOOOOO yummy!

My BM dresses are in (but not my MOH's dress).

I ordered my veil.

Scheduled my hair/makeup trial.

Sent out the invites - FINALLY!!!

Scheduled a meeting with the florist.

Still to do:
Make final music selections and send to band with $$
Table seatings
Prigrams
Petal cones
Favors
Order pumpkins for placecards
Find leaves for cake
BP gifts
Must take picture list

Had my fitting last night - it went very well. I was worried based on other Demetrios Brides' feedback that my 'ivory' would be white, but it was the prettiest creamy shade of ivory ever!!

We have 25 yes replies already and one no!! They are pouring in the mail everyday!! It's so much fun!!

Tomorrow is final hall meeting & food tasting with my entourage (parents, coordinator, FH and me).

Then FH's parents are joining all of us for dinner at the RD location to make sure we like it.

Then we are picking up our rings.

Laudipop - I'm totally having wedding dreams. Not nightmares - almost mundane dreams about the wedding itself and the details. Like dreams about writing out placecards!! I need some real sleep....

It went really well - thanks!!

We got to sample all the appetizers and a selection of the dinners. We picked our selections and our cake and linens and talked about set-up etc. It really sunk in that it's really happening!!

My replys were fast and furious for the first week, but now they are starting to slow down. It's still fun to check the mail though!

We're at 51 days or so, girls - what do we have left to do???

I can't believe how quickly the time has gone by!!! Less then two months to go!!!

Well, my invites went out on 8/30. The responses are trickling in (I've received 29 so far out of 140)

My first fitting is Friday.

I need to finalize ALL the detail...flowers, limos, favors and the hall. I still have no veil. Yikes! I better get my act together!

I got my first response today!

We only sent out the invites on Friday, so I'm kinda shocked it got here so soon.

We got our marriage license yesterday.
Finalized almost everything at the hall on Sunday.

I still have to:

--finish assembling my centerpieces
--finalize the guys' tux choices
--um...plan the ceremony (we have NOTHING finalized for it)

--make a don't play list for the band
--make a photo list for the photographer
--find a videographer (that's a new one, courtesy of my mom!)

Hmm. And about a thousand other things I can't remember. Can you guys believe it's so close?

Oh! And my dress still isn't in.

I still have all those little details to do too.

- find a headpiece & veil
- finalize ceremony information & print programs
- pick ceremony music
- outline weekend timeline - I'm feeling uneasy about how everything is laying out.
- order cake for RD
- find better shoes.
- ask readers/helpers
- win the lottery

Yikes! I haven't heard of anyone making that mistake yet, but now I'm paranoid.

I think most people will realize their mistake when they look at a calendar.

46 days girls and I am soooo overwhelmed. Started grad school last week and there is sooo much work! We got some wedding stuff done, but there is still so much to do:
favors
tux measurements for gm
parent and BP gifts
programs
petal cones
buy garter
final mtg w/ photographer
order pumpkins and candy apples
table number and table seatings
OOT guest stuff
I'm sure I'm missing stuff - how about you girls?
