finalize details with Fox Hollow
finish cards for gift baskets
buy stuff to put in gift baskets
send out RD invites
do programs
do menus
2nd and final fittings
song lists
photo lists
shop and pack for HM
print charity scrolls
get candles and rose petals for reception
do table seating and print seating chart
send pictures for video

i know there is more that i am not remembering...and i thought i was ahead of the game.

I just want to say that I LOOOOOVE Overstock.com

I got ALL my BP gifts, the parents gifts and the necklace we are giving to my daughter last night. It 's all done !!!! An hour on the computer and I can stop stressing! And most important I saved a TON of cash!

Ok -- what's next to stress about? Oh yea -- MY FH hasn't got his TUX yet!!!!


But -- the rings a sposed to come this week! So it's a balance!

Going to get my headpiece & veil tonight (I hope).

I still have no idea how I want to wear my hair, so that's a big factor, but if I don't get one soon I'm going to be in trouble.

Oakslady - did you get a new headpiece??

Responses are still coming in - we are missing a lot still, but RSVP date isn't till 10/1.

My veil is on its way!!!`

We ordered the almonds and Halloween candy (we're putting them in big bowls for people to fill little candy bags with.

We also ordered the OOT bags - now I just need to get stuff to fill them!

Picked a veil and headpiece last night, thank god.

Starting to panic that we aren't going to make minimum. Anyone else feeling that heat?

I'm totally panicking about making minimum. None of my single friends are bringing dates!

On the other hand, our RSVP date isn't until 10/2, so maybe I'm getting upset too early. When's your RSVP date, Lorsin?

Guess what, you guys? My dress FINALLY came in! I'm so relieved. Now if only I can look as good as BCTM33 does in her gorgeous dress!

Yea!! Will you be sharing pics?? I'm going for my 2nd fitting Wednesday and I'll take some then too!!

My RSVP was Sept 30th, so 13 more days.

Does the calendar make you want to laugh maniacally?? I'm starting to reach freak-out mode. Not that things aren't done, because we are in pretty good shape, but because I can't believe we are getting married NEXT MONTH.

I'm a bit in awe.

Thanks Laudipop!!! I have to say I am really loving my dress, I was feeling a little worried about it for the month of June, but I'm over it now.

We got our marriage license today, the almonds came in so I can start wrapping, and I have a flower meeting at Burton's tomorrow AM.

Lorsin - I am completely flipping out every time I look at the calendar - only 6 weekends left !

Well - it's been a stressful week.

I 'agitated' my rotator cuff and will be in a sling for a little while. Of course it is my right arm so everything is hard to do. Got a cortisone shot, but it's not really helping.

Then I found out that I can't stay in NJ this weekend, because it's the last weekend to meet with the pastor before the wedding (he's out of town and I'm out of town every other weekend) so my nice relaxing weekend went right out the window.

But, in the good news department, right after the cortisone shot I had to go for my 2nd fitting which went really really well. I love my dress!!

And I'm starting to move my wedding things (ring bearer pillow, baskets, candle holers, etc.) to FIL's house for the wedding so I don't have to cram everything in my car the weekend before.

I can't believe we are almost at the 1 month mark!!

It's coming up really soon isn't it. We are still waiting for a lot of rsvp's which isn't making me happy, but we did almost finalize our HM and I made a huge to do list to delegate tasks out to other people so I don't feel so stressed!

Yikes, Lorsin, I hope you feel better soon. Being in a sling is the last thing you need right now!

We're still waiting for a lot of RSVPs too. I'm starting to panic--our minimum is pretty high (200) and we only have 104 right now. I wish I'd left more time for sending to the B list.

What happened to this past month? Time needs to slow down!

Wow Lorsin - I just read your post (I missed it somehow last time). Are you feeling better? What a terrible time for this to happen...I hope evryone is helping out with the last minute wedding planning so you can heal!

Thanks! FH has been great. I was majorly stressing, but he's really stepped up. Only a few more days in the sling as a precaution so I'm okay for the wedding and HM.

We're only at 98 people right now - min is 150. Looks like we're only getting to about 136. Oh well.

I am appalled at how many people haven't responded yet. There's no way we're going to make our minimum. Somehow that makes me feel like a loser. I think it's because the hall didn't want to put us in that really big room to begin with, and now I can't even deliver the minimum we promised them.

I'm set free on Sunday. It's making me insane.

We are only at 61% yes - we aren't making minimum. I feel like a loser too. I'm really annoyed at some of the no responses. People who I've been with at all of their events can't take one day out to come to mine?!? With little to no explanation!

Oh well. I guess this shows me who my friends really are. And on the bright side many of the no's sent checks.

Today's our RSVP and we are still missing 40+ responses.

But I'm feeling better and I can't wait to marry FH!!

I am sooo pissed off abiut someof our no's as well. A lot of no's are from my FH's family - so I feel really bad for him.

I ordered our favors today (I know - it is very late!)

Got our BP gifts - jewelry for the girls and Kenneth Cole watches for the guys.
