I had AnnMarie and she was wonderful. I've heard great things about ALL of them at Fox Hollow. I wouldn't worry too much about it.

I have a question for everyone that got married already. Who was your bridal attendant and did you like them? I'm a little worried, I heard from a friend that her friend had one that was kinda snippy, maybe she was just in a bad mood or something I don't know! I know Jenn is stealing AnnMarie, I don't know if she would want to do my night time wedding after doing her day time wedding! lol. So any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!
Katie, if you are going to request anyone, I was told they get schedules on the 16th I think, so you would need to call soon. Just an FYI.
I heard there was a bridal attendant named Megan that is good - but that was a long time ago, on these boards somewhere - not sure if she is still there but it's a name for you!

My bridal attendant was Noelle and my Maitre D was Megan and they were awesome. Megan was on top of everything for not just DH and I but out parents as well. We were never without a drink, she was friendly and made sure I had everything I needed. She even asked the DJ to change a song when she overheard me saying I hated it haha - it was ABBA, lol.

Re: FOX HOLLOW BRIDES - Question & Answer Thread
For anyone who did a candy buffet...did the FH charge you for this? I am only asking b/c one of the ladies on the '09 board said her RH would do it for a couple of HUNDRED bucks. I don't know but that sounds a little crazy. So before i even begin buying things for the candy buffet, i just want to know if that's something i have to pay for.If i DON'T have to pay for it then i'm definitely going to do it. With that said...where can i find really INEXPENSIVE jars for the candy? i've gone to Dollar Tree but everything is so small.
TIA

Re: FOX HOLLOW BRIDES - Question & Answer Thread
So I stopped by Fox Hollow yesterday on my way to my florist appointment so I could pick up direction cards... do they assume everyone in coming from long island??? there are no directions from NJ, Upstate NY, Manhattan..did anyone else have issues with this?? ALOT of my guests are coming from NJ and also upstate NY. I was thinking of attaching a little note to the direction card with directions on how to get to the LIE... even though so many people have GPS or can mapquest the directions, I still think thorough directions should be included in with the invitation.. what did you guys do, or what are you going to do about the directions??Also, I looked at their placecards.....eeechh.... I'll be doing my own... LOL!!!

Thank you thank you for posting this. I created a new post asking this very same question and everyone just kept saying to use the cards the RH gives but it still won't help people get to any of the highways listed on the cards. What I ended up doing was saying From upstate new york take...from the Bronx take... And then once I direct them of how to make it into queens I then say' follow directions for Northern State Pkwy below...etc. Most of my guests are coming from other boros and Jersey and wouldn't even begin to know how to get to any of these highways. And believe it or not, not everyone has a computer to do mapquest...like my mom. She doesn't even know how to enter numbers in her cell phone. Lol

This is pretty much an industry standard. They direct your from the main highways, it would your responsibility to give them detailed directions from OOT. You'd find this anywhere, I went to a wedding in NJ and they didn't give directions from NY because that's not where the hall is located.

Re: FOX HOLLOW BRIDES - Question & Answer Thread
I didn't even think about that - I just put the cards that the fox hollow gave me in with the invitation ... I guess any of my oot'ers are originally from LI or come here so often, they know the roads ... but for someone who doesn't know LI roads, I would make a separate card - you can just put it those people's invites if you don't have a lot.

I asked Fox Hollow and here's the reply I got:
Defintely bring the candy! We have glass containers that you are more than welcome to use for the candy bar. Usually we will set this up and bring it out at dessert time. When you come in the week of the party, bring this candy and let us know how many bowls you think you need, and we will set everything up.
