Re: FOX HOLLOW BRIDES - Question & Answer Thread
Hello everyone! So it rained on my wedding day, but I still had a wonderful time! Jenn you are so lucky the rain held out until later on for me lol. I had a wonderful time anyway and it was really the best day of my life!!! I am just finishing up some packing and then heading to antigua tomorrow morning! I just wanted to say that I had Natalie for my bridal attendant and she was awesome, and Michael was my Matire D and he was great too. I hope everyone else's weddings went well this weekend!!!

My sister just asked me a good question...... we upgraded to the Viennese hour and I took it to mean the tables wheeled out with desserts, rather than the mini Viennese trays on each table.
My sister asked if this adds an hour onto the reception time? Isn't this the way it used to be? Do they still do that? Our CH is from 1-2pm, and our reception is from 2-6pm. I was under the impression that they do this as the last hour of the reception.
I remember reading a post a few pages back about this topic, here is what it said, MrsLarrea2B: 'I was under the impressin that the VH was 1 hour long, as in 1 extra hour to the party, meaning that my reception would be from 7pm - 1am. Apparantly I am wrong b.c last night Frank explained to me that the VH is not really a VH, but the Vienese table and that it included 30 minutes of overtime. If I wanted the full hour I would have to pay extra for it. Am I the only to be surprised to hear this?' Posted 10/21/08 6:56 PM

Thanks for posting this.... I remembered there was something on this thread about that!
I have to double check with Fox Hollow, considering if they do run an extra 30 minutes, I need to figure this out with my vendors ASAP!!!!
Thanks again!

Congratulations to you beautiful ladies who became a Mrs. this weekend. I hope you all enjoyed yourselves and I hope your day was what you wanted. I can't wait for mine...it's taking sooo long. You ladies that have already gotten married are really getting me excited. This let's me know that I made the right choice in RH.

Re: FOX HOLLOW BRIDES - Question & Answer Thread
So sorry but I just need to vent a little. Ok so I have been trying to contact Dave Gerin and he does not return my calls. I am trying to find out if it is possible if they can comp me a room at the inn. Although it wasn't in my contract I just figured I would ask b/c I see that a lot of ladies on here was able to get one. When I spoke with Ann Marie she told me that Dave did not comp me a room but I could 10% off I let the inn know that I am getting married there also. I mean it's no big deal but if I could save myself $200 that would help a lot.and I figured that if I'm spending thousands of $$$ to get married there, I don't see what the problem is to comp me a $200 room for one night. Don't get me wrong, I KNOW that they are NOT obligated to do that. I just think that it would be nice And since I'm getting married in an off season I thought it may be a little easier to do. My problem is really not the room situation, my biggest problem is that Dave is not even returning my call. I even sent an email and put it to his attention as per Ann Marie's request and still nothing. I just think that his customer service *****. Thank you for letting me get that of my chest. I guess I'll just suck it up and book my room myself.

I believe there are only certain times of the year where they offer a free room (like in the 'off season') but hey..there is no harm in trying! :)

I would think February is the off season right? Try calling Frank.
