Did you ever decide on Cavo? I used to work there A LONG time ago as a hostess!! I never even thought of hosting a bridal shower or e-party there, but that's a great idea!!p.s.: My nouno plays in a greek band, if you're still looking I'll get you the name!!

Re: Greek Brides??
We're still looking into it because it has sentimental feelings for us there But stuff is WAY TO NUTS NOW to do anything - after graduation I'll get ontop of it again. What band does your nouno play for?

Re: Greek Brides??
Hi Bridesmaidfornow!Welcome to the thread. What started of with a quick question from Olga has now become a thread of happy planning and good advice. Three of my cousins and 2 close frieds are getting married this year.
So I always give them advice that I get from here and pass it along.

Re: Greek Brides??
I LOVE IT!!!I always used to say that I'd never want to get married in a Greek church or have a traditional Greek wedding (I always had non-Greek boyfriends) but as I get older, I realize how important being Greek and Orthodox is to me! And I see I'm not alone!
By the way, does anyone know of a Greek church out by Massapequa?

Re: Greek Brides??
Wonderful! Bands are majorly stressing me out - as you have read! I have no time to search for themEdited to say: how about Roslyn's Church - is it archangel Michael? I can NEVER remember the name!
Hey are you engaged or tending to become engaged??

Re: Greek Brides??
My church is St. Demetrios in Merrick. I don't know of any Greek Orthodox church in Massapequa. There is also Holy Trinity in Hicksville and St. Markella in Wantagh and Archangel Michael in Roslyn. Hope this helps!!

Re: Greek Brides??
Really? I live on Ditmars...how about you?I'm in two bridal parties right now (I'm in MarcellaBella's!) and I'll be in another one soon enough when my best friend gets engaged this summer!
As of now, I don't see any ring in my near future , but hopefully, within two years' time I'll be getting ready for my own wedding! Everytime I read the site I get all excited thinking about everything that I will get to do!
By the way, there is a really good bridal store by my house called Kentrikon Noufaro and they cater to Greek Brides..it's been there FOREVER just in case anyone is looking for a place to get their boubouniares!
