We looked at Lombardi's on the Sound and we were quoted $109.00 for a Friday night. It's a beautiful place but a little too small for us. (We have too large a family). We also looked at Atlantica on Dune Road and they have a number of menus - the least expensive starting at $125.00 a person plus tax and gratuities.
We ended up booking at Giorgios!! (I love it!!) for $117.50 (friday night).
Good luck to you all!!

That price was for a friday night in june 2007. (Actually I believe that may have been the price for both may and june). Keep in mind that the price is for menu #1. (There are about 4 others).

I have booked the Chateau La Mer for 2007. The price for a Saturday night I think was about $85 a head. I booked September for a Sunday night for $72 a head. The cocktail hour has a huge spread, your guests are allowed to receive second portions for dinner, anything on the menu, there are 4 possibly 5 choices. The best part is the bride and groom go out on the water to take their pictures and it is part of the package! The people are very nice and helpful. It might be a good place to look at!

I just put a deposit on jericho terrace for a fridsy in july of '07. We got a price of 130 pp with the vienesse and the extra hour in the dome room. Has anyone had any experience with negotiating with them? The BM really wouldn't budge and i fell in love with the place

Westbury Manor - $55 pp
Chateau Briand - ranged from $57 pp - $68 pp
I feel both are VERY VERY good deals!!!!

Re: Hey Ladies...Let's post reception halls and there prices for 07 as we go on our search?
I just recently got married at the Coral House and I must say that I was extremely pleased with everything and I have received alot of raves from my guests about the entire wedding and the food. I would like to say it is not about how expensive the reception place is that is going to make your wedding elegant, tasteful, and most of all something that your guests will remember. I know of hall that costs $$$$ but the food was horrible and the guests walked not impressed. It is the small details that you add to your wedding that helps to make it good. The Coral House has received alot of criticism from alot of board members but just remember the CBS special about Catering halls. The Coral House did not have any violations at all so maybe when booking a hall people should try paying more attention to the violations because that is the most important thing. Good Luck!

I'm so glad you had such a nice wedding at Coral House! I'm getting married there next October and very excited about my choice... the food was delicious, and honestly, contrary to popular belief, it's not that much cheaper than other halls.... so happy you posted that! :)

You are welcome. I know that you will have a nice wedding. Just pay attention to the small details such as flowers, color scheme, programs(make sure it is elegant), menu cards(make sure it is elegant), and least make sure you are extremely organized. My guests complimented me on how organized my wedding was right down to the minute details.

Thanks! Yes, I am very detail oriented... did you post pictures of your centerpieces yet? Did you use high or low? CH said they'd provide the menus for my guests... did you use theirs or make your own?I love this planning :)
