I was surprised with our cake. I thought Swan Club did a fine job. My florist was the one who messed up the decoration of the cake.

I thought Dleeny's cake was gorgeous...I think I may just tell them to do hers....I mean they have already done it before...hopefully they won't mess it up...

And I mean if they know their cakes are bad...hello DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT

I had a major meltdown about the direction cards last week...the ones from the Swan Club say they are in Roslyn Harbor and the someone at the Swan Club told me to write Glenwood Landing on my invites because they are technically in both towns But I calmed down about that...I will use their cards and leave my invites

My invite address didn't match their card either, which I think isn't going to be a big deal... as far as the cake goes, we decided to just go with their cake and hope for the best. I'm not sure how other brides have felt, but the Swan Club has been super responsive to my practically daily phone calls about little details (are there going to be rolls on the table? etc...). I'm getting very, very nervous about the wedding (less than 3 weeks!), but not about anything that the Swan Club has been involved in!

OMG... how exciting..three weeks.. I can't wait until I can say that.

They are very responsive... My last call I ask how long the pavilion is.. I want a custom runner but I needed to know how long... they tried to convince me not to spend the money and just use their runner... I thought that was nice

It's a little scary, the best advice I read a week or so ago was to make a list called 'things I am worried about/ things I have to do'... so I have a long list I keep adding things to, but I'm crossing things out each day, so that's a little helpful. I am so excited though, and will post reviews and photos as soon as I can after the big day!

I feel your pain.... I changed my colors again.... instead of Pink and Brown.... now its taupe and pink...... and finally found my BM dresses.

i'd heard of just this mix up....so i called them and had them read the direction card to me. they were nice about it and seemed to act like the confusion is common.

I think that Black, Pink, and Silver and a little White will look beautiful

I thought about using Black, Silver, Blue, and White
but can't decide between Silver and White...Plus I worry about not finding the same blue...(light blue, eggshell blue... ) Plus I think I'm using too many colors!!

LOVE that BM dress!!!!!! I am doing same color (crimson), length (long) and same fabric satin but different necklines (strapless, tank, halter etc).

Our colors are crimson with cream and chocolate brown accents!

I am SOOOO excited!!!!!!!!!!

We went to hear a band last night and they were SO good. Pray they work with our budget (My FH and I are paying for most with my parents helping some)... We just bought a home/brownstone and the renovations are ALOT!

Oh those colors sound so nice! so hard to choose!!!!

I like champagne and pink... more golden...
Or Pink and Tangerine (sounds weird but I think would look SO nice in the summer!!!)
