Re: ALL Swan Club Brides
I'm glad to hear the cake was good... I'm just worried about what it LOOKS like. I know one of them looks a little like a silly pyramid and the other one is just tiers... did anyone see what the final one looks like? (beside their photos).

My BM said it was an extra 700 dollars. I was like no thanks! I'd consider it if it was 500.

I think we all wish they had a more modern approach to making cakes. But what can we do other than spend extra money to have a cake done someplace else. I'm over the cake thing. Just as long as everything else goes great, I'll be happy

Re: ALL Swan Club Brides
I blocked off rooms at the Huntington Hilton. not that close, I know. But the rate I got for my OOT guests was $109 and they appreciated that! they all rented cars anyway. the Roslyn Clairmont was $160 a night.

Re: ALL Swan Club Brides
Okay girls, we stopped by there today to pick up directional cards for the the invites. Here are some pics of my room, I was thinking I want to add something in the archway (the area above the two little steps) and also what to do over the fireplace, I am sure in may it won't be lit, but I want to put our pictures there and the memorial candle maybe? should I put flowers? I think I will ask them to take down the vases, what do you think?
Also here are some pics of the candlebras we are using, I took them to send to Laurie I am renting them from Creations D'Belle, if you need chair covers she has them and lots of other things I highly recommend her!!
Fireplace
In the middle of the room, where you step up into the upper part of the room, I'd like to do some type of decoration there, what do you think too much?
Candleabras
I know the candles are crooked, I was moving it around and messed them up..lol

Are you using chair covers for the ceremony or reception? I like the chairs in my reception room (Garden Room) but not so much in the ceremony room.

I have the garden room too and we got the chair covers. It cost an arm and a leg. Our BM said that we could only get it through the Swan Club.
