Re: ALL Swan Club Brides
About Swan Club Vendors, I wasn't pleased with Glenhead Florist and Pedestals in Howard Beach. No price break and Glenhead was one of the most expensive quotes I got. Glenmar Photography had a very pushy sales woman but their work seemed okay. Their package was very reasonable though. Good luck!

Re: ALL Swan Club Brides
What age is the cut off for children? Also, do they get the same kind of meal as adults do? I realized that we have a couple of kids who are between the ages of 10-15.

They told me they can put together chicken fingers and french fries for kids, but didn't ask me the age they cut off for a 'kid'

I remember the chicken fingers and french fries part but not what the cut off age was.

Re: ALL Swan Club Brides
Hey, a couple quick questions for anyone...1) Does anyone know if there is another option for those ceremony chairs in the pavillion room? Those chairs they have now look like lawn chairs, and Im not crazy about them
2) Do they provide table numbers , or do we have to make them ourselves?
Thanks!

Re: ALL Swan Club Brides
I didn't think they did cake tasting.... I've heard you can go for lunch to taste some of the food, but not nearly all of it. We just did our menu and cake and noone said anything about tasting it.

Re: ALL Swan Club Brides
No cake tasting allowed at ALL! This is a major bone of contention with all us Swannies they really need to change this.
Edited to answer the question about food tasting, yes you can go to lunch there on them, to taste the salad, entree and dessert (not your wedding cake)

I felt so bummed when I left the Swan Club yesterday. I really wanted to be the lucky winner. I heard someone say that the chef is new and replaced the person who was working there for years. How did you guys find the cocktail food?

I was there also. Everything was great. It is such a relief that we do not have to spend extra money to buy a cake.Welcome New Vendors
