I wanted Roses back to back with no greenery but over 250CP way to expensive. Have you been toa food tasting yet.

I missed so much in a few days~

Let me catch up - I am not doing the Vienesse hour..I asked Bill about placecards at my food tasting...I forgot what he said...hmmmm ...but I do remember that I asked him about table numbers. There was a wedding set up and they had small oval frames with table numbers that they provide if you don't have you own or don't want to deal with them.

For photograpers I met with Jeffery Studio (didn't like and very $$$), Duet & 12th night. Was afraid there would be communication problems with Duet and they are so hyped here that I just wanted someone not so popular. They were kind of like 'if you want us, we are here' no personality...12th night was nice, but I didn't know what the heck I was going to pay when I walked out the door, he doesn't have standard wedding packages - I just wanted a set number with everything included. My last meeting and final choice went to Velvet Studio - I liked Bob (although I can thank Mrs._C_in_07 for Booking BOB) So we met with Judy...her and Caroline will be doing our wedding. I am kind of excited to have two women photographing my wedding..

As for flowers - haven't gotten there yet - Laura, I heard LA Blossom was pretty reasonable, I would like to hear what you got.. Also I don't think I will be doing flower CP's just to save money, may just go with candles and rose petals.

OK, think I covered everything...and WELCOME TO PUNKY and congrats to Karen for booking!~!~!~

OH and I was just there yesterday to drop off a payment and Bill said they added lighting outside which will be nice at night (along the railing area)~

I realized yesterday that I NEVER visit the BHB board (thank you Laura ) and totally forgot about this thread.

Where to start..we are scheduling a food tasting after the holidays (Tatum everything sounded GREAT when you went).

MY Ceremony is upstairs, CH upstairs and Reception back upstairs. We gntyd 175 but I think we're going to have closer to 200.

I noticed a lot of you are playing off the blue. I am going with the gold. My colors are champagne, ivory and gold. Lots of ivory candles. I'll post a pic of the CP I am now loving. It's a theme wedding-champagne theme so I'm using table names like Moet, Dom Perignon and decorating the cake with white grapes, ect.

I'm creating my own menus and place cards.

My photog is Camelot Studios and Pennylane Productions for video.

I'm so happy VYC has become so popular. I remember when Kellybride, Laura, Babylonbride and I were the only ones!!

If weather permits we might have the ceremony outside but it's unlikely it will be warm enough in early May.

would u girls mind forwarding me what u are paying per person and what day of the week that is and ur guarantee...tia!! oh and also if its for 07 or 08..i actually went there and got a price quote for sept on a sunday night but me and my fh have changed our minds so many times to cut our price down and we are up for having it either a friday night or sunday night and any month except dec-march which i know is cheaper

I'll FM you. I have heard that the prices have increased dramatically since we booked and the renovations are completed. We went there and the place was nothing but a shell covered in dust and glass. We were shown carpet samples, window treatment samples, sketches...now that I think about it FH & I must have been nuts!!! We did get a good price for a Sat night in May with all the fixin's

thanks a lot!! im going to be going back there to show fh the place bc i went with my mom but now im wondering how much cheaper it would be for a different month bc i know sept is one of the highest prices

I must say that you may get a range of prices...some of us booked before/during renovations so they were able to get better prices than if you booked today, now that the renovations are nearly complete. So keep that in mind.
