When do they schedule tastings? What days & times?I just feel like my and FH's schedule is never going to match up with the time if they don't do them in the evenings. Also, we wanted my parents & his parents to come along, but that's going to be another problem with opposite schedules?

Mine is scheduled for a Saturday afternoon. I think you just need to go when they're having an event. This way the kitchen is already cooking and you can also see all of the tables setup.

My food tasting is scheduled for a saturday. I think you need to do it before an event, so its scheduled for 4pm

I fell in love with the view right away, Bill was fantastic. We are adding the seafoad Boat with Lobster, pig roast and vienessian hour. I must tell you that the view is amagizing and there is nothing like it. I wish there was docing space to doc a boat, but imagine the rh and looking over at the ocean its priceless.

My minimum is only 130. I'm really not sure how I got it, but we said that we really wanted one and he wrote it in our contract. I think we were talking about how we wanted an ice cream wedding cake, but we knew that wasn't really a possibility.

Did anyone else get anything thrown in for free? I thought that was pretty common to get people to book. We booked in the middle of renovations so maybe that was the difference.

When we first went they had those gold and red king & queen chairs, but Bill told us that they were getting new ones. I haven't seen them yet though.

When you visited the VYC for food tasting did they have candles on the widow for display, because I wanted to have some around each table and do not want it to be to tacky.

Yes they did, they only have the small 3 inch holders with a tealight or a votive in them. I think it may have been every other window. IMO, you can never have enough candles...

I'm doing the Viennese hour (loooooove my sweets) , the seafood boat, and the guy that comes in an hand rolls sushi for the cocktail hour---but luckily daisy through in an upgraded station at the cocktail hour for all that!

They are giving us one free premium station at the CH for us!!! but i think its mainly b/c we booked during renovations

They said 14 with the lobster and 9 without lobster. What price did you get for sushi? You can negotiate once you are there.
