what other halls have u looked at

Chateau La Mer, Land's End & Villa Lombardi's (which was our second choice).

i know they have a sweetheart table, what does the chairs look like b/c when i went there- i think they were blue but i saw in someones review they were gold & actually looked like a king & queen chair

When do they schedule tastings? What days & times?I just feel like my and FH's schedule is never going to match up with the time if they don't do them in the evenings. Also, we wanted my parents & his parents to come along, but that's going to be another problem with opposite schedules?

Mine is scheduled for a Saturday afternoon. I think you just need to go when they're having an event. This way the kitchen is already cooking and you can also see all of the tables setup.

When we first went they had those gold and red king & queen chairs, but Bill told us that they were getting new ones. I haven't seen them yet though.

i went to the vyc yesterday and really liked it and im going to bring back my fh..two things i wasnt quite clear what guilio said--did u girls have a food tasting before u booked? and i didnt really like the choice of appetizer or salad on the menu but i noticed that on the website there was an extra choice or two--like the appetizer penne a la vodka was not on the menu i recieved but its on the website--would i be able to ask to have that instead?? im only having a guarantee of 100 ppl so i would have the ch in the room to the left with the glass windows and my rh in the downstairs room....the only concern was when me and my mom went there last night the chairs were dirty...anybody notice this problem??

i know alot of people didnt do a food tasting until after u book but i am sure u can ask your BM if u can schedule a food tasting b4 u book also as far as the food goes go over with him/her about the menu- maybe they can work something out!!

No I didn't notice the chairs being dirty...they are made to be vintage looking with the gold and little dark specs randomly placed. But that's all I noticed. I haven't done a food tasting but I plan on it.

Not enough room...check out my pics in my album I have the outside area in a pic there is also a whole terrace area that wraps around the place but not nearly big enough to hold a CH.

i'm considering CLM but i recently went to VYC with FH & fell in love with the place- its gorgeous thats all i can say. i'm just debating if i want a june or oct wedding- i know 2 totally different seasons!!!!
