The DJ has been the hardest for me so far. I am considering Long Island Sounds, Tommy Tunes, and High Voltage... (as of right now )I also can't decide if I really need an MC - I am pretty sure the dance floor will be packed so I don't know if an MC is really necessary....
Any Thoughts ...

I'm using Tommy's Tunes. I've seen them at a bunch of events and they're always wonderful. They're not the cheapest DJ out there, but I really didn't want to take my chances on music since I think it's one of the most important parts of the reception.We got an MC too. I think it's really hard for one person to manage the event and run the music at once.

Hey gals - I am probably using FM Entertainment, they were the cheapes and Frank seems great, they have gotten great reveiws here as well.Bill told me that he could pipe music in the CH room, (larger room downstairs) - that was about a month ago...hmmm

I think Bill should have us all come down together for a food tasting lol, we can ask all the question and this way there are no problems, what do you think. It will be A VYC GTG!!

I can't believe there is a VYC thread after I am already married. I was ALL BY MYSELF for almost 2 years on this site when it changed from John Anthonys to the Venetian Yacht Club.You girls have NOTHING to worry about. I had my dream wedding. Daisy was the best to work with.
Read my review & check out my wedding pics - I added more. You see the rooms, outside view, & bridal suite pics.
I had the hall all to myself. It was picture perfect

So, I have been getting calls from vendors, they said that Bill gave them my info. Has anyone else got a call? I got a call from Fleurina and MME entertainment. I have not heard of either of them.

I've gotten a bunch of letters saying that they are 'official' VYC vendors and that Bill gave them my name. I just ignore them. I had already booked most of my vendors when I started to get that stuff.

Me too - they put 'From VYC' on the envelope JUST so I open it - now I know better - for that reason alone, I would not use them, it is like when someone sends something to your business and write 'Personal & Confidential' just to make you open it - goes RIGHT IN THE TRASH!
