do they write your name/date on top or is it just the menu?
they personalize it if you request it or bring it to their attention.. if you want your names on it make sure its in your contract.
i wouldn't go that far - it's just a menu. i had no problems - they sent me the file, i changed it and they printed it.
im saying this because i know someone who wanted personalized menus and it was a problem because it wasnt in her contract. if you MUST have something and its important no matter what it is, make sure its in writing. ITA that its just a menu, but different things matter to different people.

Who's Jenn? Is that your Banquet Manager or someone else I need to know
Jenn is the woman you will go over your stuff with - your menu, your final prep stuff.....your cake...she's a GEM!!!!!!!!
I didn't have a Jenn I went and saw Annemaire for my menu and linens, she was ok. I asked for a small sugar free cake and she looked at me like i had 10 heads, i've been diabetic for 25 years i just wanted a piece of my wedding cake
I met with annmarie too.
I was less than pleased with that meeting...
Does anyone know if she's REALLY new? I definitly got the impression she didn't know what she was doing - kind of felt shafted there.
Amen! I also met with Annemarie and was really not impressed at all. Very nice but didn't seem like she knew what was up. It also took forever for her to call me back!
ok i thought it was just me i kept telling her stuff and she would just stare at me blankly

Does the FH supply the placecards?Do they require you to handwrite or print them or do you supply a list and they do it for you?

Oh well i did not get this in writing.. and Ron, my original BM, left :( oh well its just a menu, but it would have been a nice touch.

Yay! I finally booked my final meeting for Aug 25th! I made it with Jen- does anyone know if that definitely means it is with Jen or will I possibly be meeting with this Annemarie chick? Just curious. Never met either so I can't really comment.

I still have to set up my appointment. They sent me two letters I just have to figure out when is a good day since FH's schedule is so crazy. That would be nice if they can personalize the menu but not something I NEED them to do.

At my menu meeting, I asked for them to put my names on it or send me the file. They put my name on it for me. AnnMarie did them for me and they printed them. I did remind them at my final meeting that week though to make sure i got it. It was NOT in my contract, so don't worry!!

I booked with Jen and had Lindsay and AnnMarie. I had a very positive experience with her and was very happy when I left. Lindsay on the other hand....she did not seem to know the answers to a lot of my questions and AnnMarie was able to answer them for me. JMO.

It's halfway through July & I haven't spoke with the FH since we booked them.
I know the horror! Now I need a favor from y'all since i have NO HELP planning this shindig.
What questions should I have prepared when I do meet with whomever?
I am totally schooled on chair covers and menu cards from you ladies. (thank you very much) so whatever I can get from you gurus I greatly appreciate!

I had to ask. it wasn't written in my contract, but they let me personalize it. But, they dont print them in color, but it still came out nice!

I had made my appointment with Jenn and ended up meeting with Lindsay, but then she took a leave of absence a couple weeks before my wedding so I was referd to Jenn for any questions I had. She is very helpful and seems to have accurate answers.

Re: FOX HOLLOW BRIDES - Question & Answer Thread
I choose a different florist because richard was a little higher (not much at all) then the florist I choose. I didn't know richards work or what his outcome was. I went with my sisters florist, I loved the work and he gave me the same quote as my sister and her wedding was 3 years ago.Richard was very nice and friendly. I'm sure he does great work, but I just felt comfortbale with the florist I chose.
