Re: FOX HOLLOW BRIDES - Question & Answer Thread

hmm not sure.. personally i think it's a little nicer to have the guest's name.. at least by the time of the reception.. i guess if you give them the list with 'and guest', they'll put it..

Hello!

For those who have had a wedding in the WGP during the afternoon....have you ever had a problem with the heat of the sun coming through the glass ceilings?

I just posted this on another thread that someone had a problem with this. Do you work for the Fox Hollow? You just signed up and your wedding is Monday?

So they can place the cards in alphabetical order, for your guests' ease in finding their card at the party..

they ask that you put the cards names in alphabetical order

But then why do they need the person's guest's name as well? Would the card just say John Doe and Guest?

for some I put a guest name, if I knew it. For some, I just wrote 'and guest' and it was totally fine. No problem at all!

Well then I'm glad I brought it up so that you are aware of the situation and can hopefully correct the problem before it begins.

I'm sure you are already doing this, but just talk to your BM about it. I'm sure they are aware that room gets hot, so ask them what they can do to avoid it the day of your wedding.

Awesome, like 3 people on my list are bringing total strangers, I don't feel like asking for their names...

Tomorrow is our final meeting so we will make it numero uno on our list of questions.

I am sure they can crank up the AC or something but our other concern was sunlight directly into the room and if it may be bothersome for some people.

Man, I was just there and they had the colors of the linens on the desk... I can remember pink, yellow, a light-ish blue, white... but there were other colors, and choice of linen should be standard in your contract.

ya they gave us a choice of bunch of colors. I think they already have them all there so it doesnt cost extra for a different color. Although, we had asked for Brown and they didn't have it. So had we used brown, we would have had to pay and outside vendor for them. But we just went with white and it was just fine.

Re: FOX HOLLOW BRIDES - Question & Answer Thread

I want to post this so that everyone knows. A co-worker of mine was married at fox hollow in February. There was a storm that day, she was married AT Fox Hollow in their chapel. apparently there are leaks in that room. There was a puddle on the floor and water was leaking on the BMs. I brought this up at the meeting where we chose foods and linens and stuff. They said they would look into it, i plan on asking again at my final meeting even though i plan on being married outside (but what if it rains that day?)
I am sure they have fixed it, but I just wanted to let people know.

Re: FOX HOLLOW BRIDES - Question & Answer Thread

Here are just some photos from my wedding at the Fox Hollow this past Saturday...it was absolutely terrific!!! If anyone has Jenn as their bridal attendant, know they are in terrific hands! She was the best and just went totally above and beyond. When I have photos of some of the more detailed things, I'll post them too.

Just want to say, its been a while since I posted on here...but you all have been a great help. Especially you Jess! Hope everything is great for everyone here.
