Here are just some photos from my wedding at the Fox Hollow this past Saturday...it was absolutely terrific!!! If anyone has Jenn as their bridal attendant, know they are in terrific hands! She was the best and just went totally above and beyond. When I have photos of some of the more detailed things, I'll post them too.

Just want to say, its been a while since I posted on here...but you all have been a great help. Especially you Jess! Hope everything is great for everyone here.

I have missed you so much!!!! I wish you would've told me you were in town! Are you still here?????? (i can't view the pics at work - but as soon as i get home - i'm going to)

OH may i ask if anyone has confirmed that The Garden Terrace Room is getting new chairs for sure!???? I still have yet to get a solid answer. I think they r affraid in case they dont get in here in time for someone elses wedding. I still have 7 months so hopefully they will be in by then!

Yes, they are definitely getting new chairs. I asked in my meeting. I don't know when they will be in, but not in time for my wedding, which is only 7 weeks away (yikes!)

ETA:

If anyone had or is having a daytime wedding (preferably 11:30 ceremony start), and has a timeline prepared, would you be so kind as to share it with me? Send me an email on here and i'll send you my regular email address.

Thanks!

And- BEAUTIFUL pics! Bouquet was gorgeous!!

Re: FOX HOLLOW BRIDES - Question & Answer Thread

Congratulations KitWisdom!!! The dresses and colors are beautiful for your wedding.

I haven't been able to log on in a while but to answer some of the cake issues... I was told before I signed the contract that the cakes I saw were all that were available and I hated them all. Dave said that the actual cost of the cake was about $70 either way he has to pay his baker a salary even if he doesn't bake my cake. He said that maybe he can work with me later on if I do not decide on using their cake but I have a feeling it wouldn't be for anything spectacular.

thats weird they said that considering they use Erga bakery for their cakes. its a bakery opened to the public. maybe they pay them a certain amount every month, but I would think they pay per cake....

Erga Bakery

Here you go ladies. At least on here you can see what cakes they are capable of making, so maybe you can pay for an upgrade if you want something more. Or maybe you can at least go there for a tasting.

Re: FOX HOLLOW BRIDES - Question & Answer Thread

KitWisdom, what beautiful pictures!!!! I love the color of your BM dresses too!

I've been getting little things done here and there, designing a lot of DIY projects and such. Got another thing checked off my list -- scheduled our menu/linen meeting with Jenn for August 14th!!! Can't wait!!! And thanks to all on here who posted what to have ready in advance so I'll be prepared. I have a huge list of questions too.

And when did this happen??? 100 DAYS!!!!!!

Re: FOX HOLLOW BRIDES - Question & Answer Thread

I've been searching this thread but can't find what I'm looking for......

Does anyone have a picture of the table number frames or holders that Fox Hollow provides?

I'm creating my own table numbers to match my DIY projects and would like to print them now before I leave for a 2-week business trip w/ FH.

I'm not sure what size I need to make the final printouts if I use their frames.

Thanks in advance!!

I just printed my table numbers so I can definitely help you with this!

They use 4x6 frames there. I spoke to Jenn about this last week, and she said that each banquet manager has their own set and the colors differ. But they are all 4x6. She told me that as the wedding gets closer, they should be able to tell you which BM you have and what color the frames are in the event you want to buy your own to match your color scheme, like I do. I want brown or gold frames as my colors are brown, orange and gold/champagne/ivory. In October, when I know who my BM is, I may buy some cheap frames to match my scheme (or buy whatever color I can find and spraypaint them).

Hope that helps!

Yes it does! Thank you so much for the info!

I printed out my 3x5 table numbers on white cardstock late last night, and will most likely put them on a blue background as a border to measure up to the 4x6 frame opening as you mentioned. Unfortunately, this and my DIY aisle runner will have to wait until I return from FH's business trip...... we're driving to Pittsburgh and then Chicago, then back to NY. So I brought my laptop and can get some layouts done. I'm bringing a few programs from family/friends' weddings so I can begin layout for ours, leaving whatever I don't know yet blank. Anything I can do now I will, so I won't be swamped come Aug 28th when work begins again!

Our meeting with Jenn is on Aug 14th. I have my vendor list ready. I read a post on here about having a photo of your DIY CPs ready to give to her too, so when I get home, that's another thing I have to do. FH and I have to go over the menu sheets and figure out what we want, but I can't do that until we get back (he's in work-mode right now, so I'm handling wedding stuff).

Well, I'm off to PA..... I'll be checking the boards while I'm away so I don't miss anything!!!

Re: FOX HOLLOW BRIDES - Question & Answer Thread

I was just wondering if any one received a free diner at the Fox Hollows restaurant for booking there wedding with them. When I booked with Susan this is what she told me, I have been trying to reach her since Tuesday, I am still waiting for a call back.

I left a message with Susan yesterday. She went home sick yesterday and won't be back in the office until Saturday.

I booked with her, and had my dinner at Rose Hunt. The dinner was not free, the appetizers and drinks were, though.

we were told free appatizers and around of drinks. But be careful cus the first time we had or banquet manager make us a reservation, he never told the restaurant we got those for free, so we had to pay for everything. But a few months later we spoke to a different banquet manager and he set it up for us and our parents and it was just fine. The restaurant there is really nice and very good!
