Re: FOX HOLLOW BRIDES - Question & Answer Thread

If you had your Ceremony at the Fox Hollow, What did you do for your Ceremony Music? We were thinking of having the DJ company do it, but we will be out side in the garden for the Ceremony (pending rain) and were wondering if they would be able to play out there. Is there electricity that they can plug into? Room for them to set up?

Thanks for the info in advance.

I am sure the FH has electrical outlets outside for the DJ --- WE are using our DJ for the ceremony - I know they use a small system for the ceremony.. not a huge one w/ huge speakers like they do for the reception.

Re: FOX HOLLOW BRIDES - Question & Answer Thread

Ok- so after trading calls with the Excutive Inn and Best Western for months I have just learned that they do not have a room block available for my wedding date. Uggg!

Does anyone know any other moderately priced hotels in the area? I am so pissed I could spit fire!!!

Our friends getting married at the Fox Hollow are using the Huntington Hilton on Rt 110, it has a shuttle service to the hall. You may want to check there

Oh no! First of all, I blocked my rooms there way back in August 2008. . .for 7/10 and 7/11. I hope I didn't 'steal' rooms from you. . .especially because I'm going to probably need to add more rooms to my block.

You can also try the Holiday inn Right off of the LIE. I think it is in Plainview. Or the 4 points Sheridan that is also off the LIE. We are going to look at them, but only went by prices from online as a price range so I'm not sure if they are considered moderately priced.

Re: FOX HOLLOW BRIDES - Question & Answer Thread

So today I put together 58 invites before I realized something...I had a card I had made that we were enclosing with information about 2 hotels, one being the Inn at Fox Hollow.(we didn't book rooms there, but I wanted people to know it was available) Anyway what made me look at the card, I don;t know, but thankfully I did, because I realized the phone number was off by one digit. At first, I was like no big deal, the people, if any, will call and think the number was switched. Then my fiance said what if it is a sex site, since it was an 800 number. So I called it, it redirected me to another number, and it said, 'Hello horney guy' My mouth DROPPED!! I had to open up all 58 invites and hand change the digit of the number!!!! Then I continued on and finished all 163 invites tonight. AHHHH!!! I did have a good laugh afterwards.

So Fox Hollow Brides, be careful you have the right number to the inn. the 1st three number, it is a 9 and not a 0.
