Everything was perfect. I cant find 1 thing to complain about. The food was great (from what ive been told bc i really didnt eat much). The service was amazing- the staff was on top of everything. Before the guests could even finish a drink there was a new one on the table for them. It was really cool how they served everyone- they took all the food out at once and then made each person their own dish so it was hot- it was like watching a show!

They were good. My only thing is we asked to play a lot of spanish music and he didnt (we had Kevin).

Hey TC brides,

I am starting to make my invitations... I was wondering if you could help me out...

We are getting married at the TC... how should I word everything. And did everyone put 'promptly at (whatevertime)'???

This is what I am thinking so far:

Mr. and Mrs. John Smith
Invite you to celebrate
in the marriage of their daughter
Jane Marie
to
Jack James
son of Mr. and Mrs. Mark Jones
Saturday the twenty-Eighth of November
Promptly at Six Thirty PM

But my question is... also, where do I put in the thatched cottage?

I am also going to put at the bottom: reception immediately follows.

I am so clueless!! Thanks for the help!!

I personally like the 'Promptly' if it were me I would put it like this though:

Mr. and Mrs. John Smith
Invite you to celebrate
in the marriage of their daughter
Jane Marie
to
Jack James
son of Mr. and Mrs. Mark Jones
Saturday the twenty-Eighth of November
At promptly half past 6 in the evening

The historical thatched Cottage
address
Centerport ny 11111

Hope that helps a little!

ETA: sorry lol... now that I am looking at it I dont think you need the address since you will have the direction cards in w/ the invite... you can just put:

The Historical Thatched Cottage
Centerport, Ny

So, I know we have apprx 12 people per table, but did someone say that some tables could have up to 14?

Yup I think 12 tables and you can range them from 8-14 I think..Ill check when I get home for u.

Yes, you can have up to 14 a table.

I went last week to make my final arrangements, and a wedding was just starting! i saw the cocktail hour outside and it looked so great. I also got to see the ballroom all set up, and it looked gorgeous! It got me so excited!

I'm sorry I haven't posted sooner! This week has been so hectic, I've only had time to log onto LIW if I had aquestion that I needed answered!

2 days to go!!! Rehearsal and RD is tonight! I am so excited for Captain Bill's! I also can't wait to give all the gifts out!!!!

Getting my nails done today, eyebrows waxed... and then I can relax. Oh, I also get to see a sample of my flowers this morning at 10.

My mom and I went to the TC on monday to drop off all of my stuff, and we sat in the bridal suite with Sandy and all I could do was look out the window. It's so pretty there, and I can't wait to have the place filled with everyone we love!!

This is really happening!!!!!!!!!!! I woke up with DF in our house this morning, and realized that was the last time I'll be waking up in my own house as a single lady! I'm sleeping at my parents' house tonight and tomorrow night.

AHH!! this is really happening!!!!!!!!!!!! :):):):)

Well, ladies! I'm just here drinking my coffee and then starting the whole beautifying process for my big day!

I can't believe it's here. I'm so afraid I'm going to mess up in the ceremony. But I am putting all my faith in everyone I'm paying today to make this the best day of my life!

My mouth is watering for that first mimosa....

I'll be back after the honeymoon! I'll try to post whatever pics I can get from people!

All of you ladies have been so helpful, answering any question I had about the whole planning process, so thank you!!!!
