This qs is for past winter garden pavilion brides. I am currently doing my seating arrangements and it looks like I will have some tables of 12 or 13. Is this ridiculous? Will guests be super cramped? Also, did you find the dance floor big enough? I will have around 120 guests

I had about 120 guests with 12 tables of 10-12. I think that a table of 13 would be a little crowded. There was plenty of room for a dance floor. There are also pictures in my album if you want to check out the set up.

I obviously haven't had my wedding yet, but, IMO it's always good to have an italian station.

My fiancee is Chinese. We put both Asian stations in our cocktail hour.
I think the Carving Station is also pretty popular.

We were told the max is 180 and with the fact that our parents keep saying 'opps.. we forgot so and so..' we are looking at very close to that.

Ideally, if we invite only who we want, without the parents say, we are aiming for 160-165.

Re: FOX HOLLOW BRIDES - Question & Answer Thread

Does anyone know how elaborate fox hollow lets you get with the cake if you want to make some changes? also- if you have to pay extra does anyone know about how much... i want something like the picture below. i was supposed to go to my meeting last night to pick cake/linens but had to cancel last minute and so now it's postponed for the 29th. if any married girls or ones who have already had their final meetings know and can give me some pointers, i'd appreciate it!

anything over 140 you have to have oval tables....i am using the PWP Florist and he suggested that no matter how many people, use the oval tables, its better to move around.

The cakes are very simple white frosted cake. Something like that picture would cost you a lot extra. Extra for fondant, extra for colors, extra for decorations. I know you can make MINOR changes, but basically they are just white cakes with very, very simple details.

My Maitre' D put the flowers on, I didn't order any flowers, but when I got there she asked if I wanted some.

The Bakery has some beautiful cakes on their site. Could give you some ideas. Probably best to call them and ask how much the additional charge would be.

i had my meeting monday morning - yours is the cake i went with... they are plain - but like my FH said 'it's JUSt a cake' ... my florist is supplying flowers to garnish the cake, so im sure the maitre'D will fix it up -- I love all the fancy cakes but its not something we want to spend our money on.
