RE: The Alphabetical Guest List
If a couple is coming together and they are not married, do I have to list them separately? Or do I list them together?
I asked the same question and AnnMarie said you dont have to list them separately.
I'm just wondering, why would they need a separate alphabetical list of guests if we are supplying placecards for all the guests? that seems a little redundant?

I had a LOOOOONG list of questions![]()
Some are obvious but i decided to ask anyway. Like to hear things from the 'horse's mouth' if you know what i mean. So i'll give you my list. Remeber some are a little dumb but bear with me
![]()
1.What kind of cake flavors and fillings are available? Can we mix flavors and fillings?
2.What kind of decorations for the cake are available at no extra charge?
3.Will there be any wine or champagne on the table during the reception?
4. What type of decorations are on the table for cocktail hour?
5. How will your staff know how to set up the centerpieces? Can a family member assist in the set up? If so how early can set up begin?
6.We are doing a candy buffet...how and when will it be set up and on what kind of table (round or square)?
7.Can our names be placed at the top of the menus in place of the fox?
8.Will there be a bathroom attendant and valet on the evening of the wedding?
9.Can I choose my bridal attendant and maitre'd prior to the wedding?
10.Can we take pics in the Winter Garden before the ceremony or reception?
11.If my guests arrive early how will they be accomodated?
12.What happens if we do not meet our minimum?
13.Do you supply any music for the ceremony or cocktail hour?
14.Will we be supplied with cake cutting utensils and toasting flutes?
15.Where will the table for the card box be set up?
16.In the event that we do not meet our minimum, can we have food packed for us to take home?
17.Who will pack up everything for us at the end of the night?
18. When do we need to bring everything to the hall (centerpieces, favors etc) and when do we make our final payment?
If you have anyone who may be allergic to certain things make sure you tell her then. FH and a few ppl that will be at our wedding is allergic to anything with nuts including peanut oil. So we had to make sure that nothing is cooked in peanut oil or contains any nuts and we have one guest who severly allergic to eggs so we asked her to have the cook specify what dish including any sauces or dips contain eggs.
I know my questions are a little dumb but i am sooooo clueless about this stuff i just went for it![]()
![]()
Most of this stuff i didn't even get to ask because Ann Marie was so great in explaining everything to us that she pretty much answered everything before i got a chance to ask.
Good luck and enjoy!!!! Yay we are soooo close![]()

These questions are great...they are very simliar to mine, plus you asked some things i didnt even think to ask..

Not really sure. Maybe it's for their records??

I assumed it was a liability issue - that they need to know exactly who is in the building just incase anything were to happen. It's not reduntant because the placecards are to distribute and Fox Hollow won't have any record of it.

You can list Couples today 'Mr and Mrs. Tom Jones' but the kids have to be separately, 'Ann Jones', 'Chris Jones', 'Tom Jones jr'

I've heard the inn is kind of 'stuffy' ... in other words, plan on having your after party somewhere else. My reception ends at 5..so we're thinking of heading to the bowling alley. (hopefully they dont have leagues taking up the whole place)

When we originally booked with Fox Hollow they said we could do an after party there. Since the Restauranr bar closes early. My wedding ends at midnight & then we thought we could have a small gathering in the back room. But now they have changed their tune. Maybe we coul ddo it anyway i will call Victor.
