Does anyone know if i can combine Cake styles? I like the pearl look but with the four tiers round & in between each tier i want flowers is this possible?

DO they show you a selection of cakes from which you can choose? I am going in 2 weeks for my menu & cake meeting...

They have a book with like 10 different styles of cakes. If you want something other than what they have, you have to upgrade and pay extra for it. The cake styles are fairly basic. I went for a square stacked without the swiss dots. I'm supplying black satin ribbon that they're going to put on the bottom of each layer.
So, even though the cakes are basic, you can dress them up.

They have an album with pictures of cakes for you to choose your style then they have a list of flavors and fillings for you to choose from. I don't know if you can combine cake flavors like red velvet in one layer and carrot in another but you can choose different fillings. I am doing the strawberry preserves and a conoli filling.

They don't let you mix layers. AnnMarie was very explicit in telling me that.

Re: FOX HOLLOW BRIDES - Question & Answer Thread

We got our proofs yesterday on our 1-month anniversary!!! I'm so excited that I had to share!!

Some of our photos were inspired by previous Fox Hollow brides, so a HUGE THANK YOU to those who posted the pics that I asked our photographer to recreate. We had so much fun trying to get that pic in the Inn next door by the stairs! And to Davenjess, your photo in between the front doors inspired us to do the same.... we almost got into 'trouble' with Frank for keeping the doors slightly open for that shot!

I'm going to be uploading more, but for now, pics are in my album

I had a LOOOOONG list of questions Some are obvious but i decided to ask anyway. Like to hear things from the 'horse's mouth' if you know what i mean. So i'll give you my list. Remeber some are a little dumb but bear with me

1.What kind of cake flavors and fillings are available? Can we mix flavors and fillings?

2.What kind of decorations for the cake are available at no extra charge?

3.Will there be any wine or champagne on the table during the reception?

4. What type of decorations are on the table for cocktail hour?

5. How will your staff know how to set up the centerpieces? Can a family member assist in the set up? If so how early can set up begin?

6.We are doing a candy buffet...how and when will it be set up and on what kind of table (round or square)?

7.Can our names be placed at the top of the menus in place of the fox?

8.Will there be a bathroom attendant and valet on the evening of the wedding?

9.Can I choose my bridal attendant and maitre'd prior to the wedding?

10.Can we take pics in the Winter Garden before the ceremony or reception?

11.If my guests arrive early how will they be accomodated?

12.What happens if we do not meet our minimum?

13.Do you supply any music for the ceremony or cocktail hour?

14.Will we be supplied with cake cutting utensils and toasting flutes?

15.Where will the table for the card box be set up?

16.In the event that we do not meet our minimum, can we have food packed for us to take home?

17.Who will pack up everything for us at the end of the night?

18. When do we need to bring everything to the hall (centerpieces, favors etc) and when do we make our final payment?

If you have anyone who may be allergic to certain things make sure you tell her then. FH and a few ppl that will be at our wedding is allergic to anything with nuts including peanut oil. So we had to make sure that nothing is cooked in peanut oil or contains any nuts and we have one guest who severly allergic to eggs so we asked her to have the cook specify what dish including any sauces or dips contain eggs.

I know my questions are a little dumb but i am sooooo clueless about this stuff i just went for it
Most of this stuff i didn't even get to ask because Ann Marie was so great in explaining everything to us that she pretty much answered everything before i got a chance to ask.

Good luck and enjoy!!!! Yay we are soooo close
